Lakkate Wasikachart
BIOGRAPHY
Lakkate Wasikachart (Thai: หลักเขต วสิกชาติ), credited under the nickname Nun, is a Thai director, writer and actor with nine productions on record between 2018 and 2026. Almost all of that work is mainstream Thai television. One title is not, and it is the reason this profile exists here.
The career begins with Buang Ruk Satan (2018), a ten episode series on which he holds both the directing and the creator credit, the only time both appear together on this filmography. What follows is long-form lakorn at scale: Kiss of the Cobra (2020) across twenty-eight episodes, Soot Rak Sap E-Lee (2020) across forty-five, My Lovely Bodyguard (หัวใจรักพิทักษ์เธอ, 2022) across twelve on ONE 31 for GMM One, A Wildflower in the City (2023) across thirty-seven, and Echoes of the Lost City (2025) across thirty-eight. In January 2026 came The School (ศักดินาวิทยาลัย), a ten episode ONE 31 drama about a school split between rich and poor students.
Then, on 25 April 2026, Flower Boy (หลงกลิ่นเกสร). Eight episodes on ONE 31, running to 13 June 2026, produced in house by ONE31 and carried internationally on GagaOOLala. He is credited as co-director alongside Santi Torwiwat, with Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod credited as director and Danuphon Chaimueanwong on the screenplay. The premise is a fantasy: a cold executive abducts a magical being to take his irresistible scent, and finds that both the fragrance and his own survival depend on actually winning the person he has taken. Satjakorn Chalard plays Scent and Peemapol Panichtamrong plays Gaysorn, both across all eight episodes.
Very little personal information is on the public record. There is no date of birth, no education, no agency listing and no photograph in any licensable source, and the fields for each of those are left empty here.
BLGLFlix editorial view
Look at the episode counts. Twenty-eight, forty-five, thirty-seven, thirty-eight. This is a director who has spent years working at the industrial end of Thai television, where a series is a months-long production line and the job is delivery. Then in 2026 he takes a co-directing credit on an eight episode boys’ love fantasy. That is a different craft on a different clock, and it is a move that keeps turning up.
It is also the crew-side version of a pattern visible elsewhere in this catalogue. Established non-genre actors have been turning up in BL supporting casts in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Here it is happening behind the camera, in Thailand, and with a director whose previous work is as mainstream as it gets. Taken together it looks less like BL borrowing prestige from outside and more like BL simply being absorbed into the ordinary business of television production.
ONE31 ran two boys’ love series back to back in 2026. Flower Boy ran from 25 April to 13 June. The Edge of Horizon (อรุณรุ่ง), the period BL set in 1932, began on 20 June, a week later, and ran to 29 August. Both were produced in house by ONE31 and both carry Takonkiet Viravan and Nipon Pewnen as executive producers. That is nineteen episodes of BL, a fantasy and a period drama, from one broadcaster in one year, under the same production leadership.
Two series is also an understatement of the channel’s record. Auditing supporting actors and crew across this catalogue produces an evidenced list of at least twenty queer titles carried by ONE 31, beginning in 2016: SOTUS in 2016; Thank God It’s Friday and Theory of Love in 2019; Nitiman and Bite Me in 2021; Laws of Attraction and Only Friends in 2023; Century of Love, Petrichor and Your Sky in 2024; ClaireBell, Reloved and Taste in 2025; and Magic Move, Class Crush Crisis, Flower Boy, The Edge of Horizon, Fairway of Love, Mr. Fanboy and WEIRDO-101 in 2026. Thai channel filmographies surface slowly, so treat that as a floor rather than a total.
The Thai BL conversation is usually a GMMTV conversation. That is worth revising. ONE31 is running a slate, staffing it from its own long-form lakorn bench, and giving it primetime broadcast slots rather than treating it as streaming-only material. That is a different bet on what the audience is.
Three directors on eight episodes is the other detail worth flagging. Flower Boy carries a director and two co-directors, which is a lot of hands for a short run and usually means block shooting under a compressed schedule. No source describes how the work was divided, and guessing at it would be worse than leaving it unsaid, but the credit structure itself tells you the production was built for speed.
