MingMing Kanyakorn Namboonruang

MingMing Kanyakorn Namboonruang is a singer and actress, best known as a member of the girl group Mindy and, since 2026, as one of the leads of the Thai girls love drama Juliet & Juliet. Her path runs through nearly every format of Thai idol television, from a children’s singing contest to survival programs, and now into scripted drama under OPEN LABEL.

Her first appearance was on The Voice Kids Thailand in 2015. In 2021 she was a contestant on Idol Paradise, where she placed eighth, and in the same year she made guest appearances on T-Pop Stage Show in episodes 30 and 168, on Talk with ToeyS in episode 147 and on Today Show in episode 275.

In 2023 she joined Blow Your Mind, the survival program that formed Mindy. The group officially debuted on September 4, 2023 with the single Blow My Mind, and MingMing serves as its main vocalist. Her fellow members are Mukki, Hongpao, Praew, Ilene and Grace. That year she also appeared as a guest in episode 6 of The Golden Singer.

In 2024 she competed as a trainee on Chuang Asia Thailand, an idol survival show held in Thailand and also known as Produce Camp Asia: Thailand on WeTV. She also appeared as a guest on Thailand Music Countdown in episode 18 in 2024 and again in episode 25 in 2025.

Acting arrived in 2026. In the reality program House 31 she was a guest in episodes 3 and 4 beside Nepjune Nutkitta Poonsukwattana, and then she took the role of Tokyo in Juliet & Juliet, which premiered on One 31 on September 5, 2026 and is directed by Tuk Chantana Tiprachart. Tokyo is the youngest daughter of Sia Po from the rival family, and she meets Blue, played by Nepjune, at a provincial convent school. Nok Chatchai Plengpanich plays her father, Po Khongpurim.

The drama reimagines Romeo and Juliet in a modern Thai setting and follows two young women whose families are locked in a long feud, asking whether their love will triumph or lead to tragedy. Kob Songsit Rungnopakunsi, Golf Ornanong Thaisriwong and Bright Norraphat Vilaiphan appear in supporting roles.

Across her credits, one thread is competition. Idol Paradise, Blow Your Mind and Chuang Asia all asked her to earn a place by ranking against peers, while Tokyo is a character defined by an inherited rivalry she did not choose. The difference lies in the direction of the story. On the survival stages the aim was to stand out from a group, whereas in Juliet & Juliet the aim is to find out whether love can outlast a family feud, a shared goal that she carries together with her co-lead. Her singing background also gives the move to acting an unusual starting point, since a main vocalist is used to telling a story through performance and now does so through character.
