What happens

Juliet & Juliet (จูเลียตแอนด์จูเลียต) is a Thai girls' love drama that premiered on One 31 on Saturday 5 September 2026. It runs for eight episodes of about 51 minutes, broadcast on Saturdays, and it is also available on oneD and GagaOOLala.

The drama reimagines Romeo and Juliet in a modern Thai setting with two young women in the title roles. Blue (Phakhjira Monchaitrakul), the only daughter of the Monchaitrakul household, moves to a provincial area and meets Tokyo, the youngest daughter of Sia Po, a powerful local figure of the Khongpirum family. Their two families have been in a long running feud and are locked in a power struggle, and that rivalry shapes the world around both women. Episodes arrive each Saturday, so the feud unfolds over eight consecutive weeks.

Nepjune Nutkitta Poonsukwattana plays Blue and Mingming Kanyakorn Namboonruang plays Tokyo. Kob Songsit Rungnopakunsi plays Blue's father, Wibun Monchaitrakul, and Golf Ornanong Thaisriwong plays her mother, Ratri Monchaitrakul. Nok Chatchai Plengpanich plays Tokyo's father, Po Khongpurim, and Bright Norraphat Vilaiphan plays Yi.

Chantana Tiprachart, known as Tuk, directs, and the scripts are credited to Kanokphan Ornrattanasakul and Issaraporn Kuntisuk. The One Enterprise and One 31 are among the companies behind the production, together with Open Label, GINGERx Studio and Sour BBangkok.

A title with two Juliets

Shakespeare's play pairs one Romeo with one Juliet. This drama keeps the feuding families and gives the Romeo role to a second Juliet, so two young women, Blue and Tokyo, take the title roles. That single change in the title tells viewers how the old story has been reworked before an episode begins. The Thai title, จูเลียตแอนด์จูเลียต, repeats the same name on both sides of the conjunction.

Two households, one power struggle

Blue belongs to the Monchaitrakul household and Tokyo to the Khongpirum family, whose head, Sia Po, is a powerful local figure. The feud between the families is long running, and it is the force that gives the drama its stakes. Wibun and Ratri Monchaitrakul, played by Kob Songsit Rungnopakunsi and Golf Ornanong Thaisriwong, stand on one side of that feud, and Nok Chatchai Plengpanich plays Po Khongpurim on the other.

A short weekly run

One 31 broadcasts the drama on Saturdays at 20:30, with oneD and GagaOOLala also carrying it. The first episode aired on 5 September 2026 and the eighth and final episode is scheduled for 24 October 2026, so the feud has seven weeks between the first episode and the last to play out. Each episode runs about 51 minutes, and a fixed weekly slot gives the story a steady rhythm from start to finish.

Behind the camera

Under director Chantana Tiprachart, the scripts are credited to Kanokphan Ornrattanasakul and Issaraporn Kuntisuk. Five companies share the production: The One Enterprise, One 31, Open Label, GINGERx Studio and Sour BBangkok.

The wider cast

Bright Norraphat Vilaiphan plays Yi, alongside the leads Nepjune Nutkitta Poonsukwattana and Mingming Kanyakorn Namboonruang. The household conflict sits at the center of the drama, with each of the parents tied to one side of the feud.

Themes

The retelling changes the shape of the old tragedy without changing its pressure. Two families have turned their rivalry into a struggle for local power, and the two daughters who meet across that line have to decide what loyalty to a family can ask of them. Setting the story in a provincial Thai community gives the feud a face that viewers can recognise, since everyone in town knows which household stands where.

How it was made

The first episode aired on One 31 on 5 September 2026, with weekly Saturday broadcasts at 20:30 scheduled through the eighth and final episode on 24 October 2026.
