Chung Su-bin (Korean: 정수빈; born August 17, 1998), also romanized as Jung Soo-bin, is a South Korean actor signed to J,Wide-Company. A graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, she debuted with the drama Live On in 2020 before landing her first major role in Trolley (2022-2023), which earned her a Best New Actress award at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards.
She went on to appear in Revenge of Others (2022) and the film It’s Okay! (2023), building a reputation for intense, emotionally layered performances in youth-oriented thrillers and dramas.
In 2025, Chung Su-bin took on the co-lead role of Woo Seul-gi in Friendly Rivalry, opposite Hyeri. The performance became a breakout moment for her career: she and Hyeri won Best Couple at both the APAN Star Awards and the Korea Drama Awards, and Chung Su-bin separately won Best New Actress at the Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards the same year.

Two mainstream Korean award shows gave Best Couple to a pairing of two women in a girls love series.
Chung Su-bin (정수빈) plays Woo Seul-gi opposite Hyeri in Friendly Rivalry, the sixteen episode 2025 production carried on Netflix. She and her co-star took Best Couple at the APAN Star Awards and again at the Korea Drama Awards, and she separately won Best New Actress at the Asia Contents Awards and Global OTT Awards the same year.
Award ceremonies are where an industry says out loud what it is prepared to endorse. A Best Couple prize is the most conventional category there is, voted on by the most conventional audiences, and handing it to two women in a story about them is a different kind of signal from a genre prize at a specialist festival. It happened twice in one season.
It also gives a lie to the idea that this material sits in a niche by necessity. The series was on Netflix, the recognition came from the domestic mainstream, and the performance that earned it was not softened for either.
