BIOGRAPHY
Ronald Marquez de Santos Jr. (born May 15, 1998), who works as Kokoy de Santos, is a Filipino actor and television host. He fronts two of the records catalogued in this batch: Gavreel Mendoza Alarcon in Gameboys (2020) and the title role in Oh, Mando! (2020), released within months of each other in the first year of the pandemic and for two entirely different producers.
He began as a child actor. His first film credit is Emir (2010), where he is billed under his legal name, Ronald de Santos, and through the decade that followed he moved between network television and independent cinema: small parts in Kid Kulafu (2015) and Die Beautiful (2016), then larger ones in Signal Rock (2018), Fuccbois (2019) and How to Die Young in Manila (2020). Television work ran in parallel from Futbolilits (2011) onwards, including My Husband’s Lover (2013), The Greatest Love (2016 to 2017) and The Killer Bride (2019).
The genre work is concentrated in a short window. Gameboys went out on YouTube in 2020, the companion series Pearl Next Door the same year, and Oh, Mando! premiered on iWantTFC on 5 November 2020. He returned to Gavreel for Gameboys: The Movie (2021) and Gameboys 2 (2022).
