OXQ

OXQ, a name given as Ordinary X Quake, was a five member Thai boy group under Motive Village. The first digital single ME! was released on 7 June 2020.

The members were Pavel, Ben, Dome, Nine and Joong. Joong Archen Aydin holds a profile of his own in this catalogue and later became a member of JASP.ER under Riser Music, which also has a page here.

The fandom name was QTIES. The group ended the same year it began.

Motive Village announced the OXQ project in April 2020 and introduced the five publicly the following month, presenting them as five distinct personalities pulled together under one name. The concept was deliberately grounded: the members were framed as ordinary young men whose warmth and honesty would be the thing that moved people, which is where the “ordinary x quake” reading of the name comes from.

The debut digital single ME!, released on 7 June 2020, was the first music video any of the five had made. After the group’s run the members took very different paths: Joong signed with GMMTV and in 2024 became part of JASP.ER under Riser Music, Nine joined the international group INTO1, Ben signed with STMD Thailand, and Dome moved into further acting work.
