Phatphatson Warissaraphuricha (ภัทร์พัทร์ศร วริศราภูริชา), known as Patty (แพทตี้), is a Thai screenwriter. On this site the name is attached to GAP, the series most often described as the one that opened Thai girls’ love to a mass audience. The wider credit record shows something more interesting: this is a working Thai television dramatist with six credits across seven years, three of them girls’ love and three of them mainstream drama.
The record opens with Sin of Love (บาปรัก), twenty two episodes on ONE 31 from 3 September 2018, and continues with My Sassy Girl (ยัยตัวร้ายกับนายกระจั๊วะ), sixteen episodes from 11 October 2021.
Then two queer credits arrive within a fortnight of each other in November 2022. Love of Secret (อากงจ๋า..ป๋าไม่รู้) went out on Channel 3 on 5 November 2022, two episodes, produced by Baanchan Production, and TMDB classifies it as girls’ love (gl) and lesbian relationship. It follows a medical student who wants to be an idol and hides that ambition from a surgeon father. Fourteen days later, on 19 November 2022, GAP (ทฤษฎีสีชมพู) premiered, twelve episodes produced by Idol Factory and carried on both YouTube and Channel 3. Patty wrote the screenplay from a novel. Mon, newly graduated, takes an internship at a large company because she admires its chairwoman, Sam.
After that came Dhevaprom (ดวงใจเทวพรหม) in March 2024, a Channel 3 production classified squarely as a lakorn, on which Patty is credited across seventeen episodes. Most recently Runaway (หนีไปก็ตายเปล่า), eight episodes from 4 November 2025, again produced by Baanchan Production for Channel 3 and YouTube, and again classified girls’ love (gl). It is a horror premise: a woman with one hundred and sixty eight hours left to live, pursued by a vengeful spirit.
Everything personal is missing from the record. No birth date or place, no biography, no accounts, gender unset. The only Wikipedia result was the article on Gap, which is about the series rather than the person who wrote it. The fields are left as they are.

Start with the two week gap in November 2022, because it is the kind of detail that quietly rearranges a story. GAP is the title everyone names when Thai GL is discussed. Love of Secret went out on Channel 3 fourteen days earlier, carries the same girls’ love classification and was written by the same person. It ran two episodes and almost nobody outside Thailand mentions it. No first is being claimed for it, because firsts in this genre are contested and Thai GL runs back to 2010. What can be said is that the same writer had two GL projects reaching air inside a fortnight, on two different production setups, and the industry apparently found that unremarkable enough not to record it.
The second thing is who this writer actually is. Dhevaprom is a Channel 3 lakorn, the most conventional format Thai television has. Sin of Love ran twenty two episodes on ONE 31. This is not a BL and GL specialist who happened to write GAP. This is a mainstream Thai television dramatist who also writes queer romance, in the same years, for the same channels, apparently without anyone treating it as a change of career.
That answers a question this catalogue keeps running into. Why does Thai queer drama look so much like ordinary Thai television, when Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese queer drama each look like something improvised at the edge of their industries? Because in Thailand it is written by the same people, commissioned by the same channels and made to the same episode lengths. Elsewhere in these records a BL novel turns up being made as a Channel 7 lakorn. Here is the other half of that: the writer of Thailand’s best known GL series also writes lakorns for Channel 3.
One production company is worth pulling out by name. Baanchan Production made Love of Secret in 2022 and Runaway in 2025, both girls’ love, both for Channel 3, both written by Patty. Thai GL is usually discussed as though Idol Factory were the whole story. There is at least one other house with a three year GL record and the same writer attached to both ends of it, and it has almost no international profile at all.
