Phatphatson Warissaraphuricha (ภัทร์พัทร์ศร วริศราภูริชา), known as Patty (แพทตี้), is a Thai screenwriter and the writer of the girls’ love series GAP. Six television credits span 2018 to 2025, three of them girls’ love and three of them mainstream drama.
The first credit is Sin of Love (บาปรัก), twenty two episodes on ONE 31 from 3 September 2018, followed by My Sassy Girl (ยัยตัวร้ายกับนายกระจั๊วะ), sixteen episodes from 11 October 2021.
Two girls’ love credits arrived in November 2022. Love of Secret (อากงจ๋า..ป๋าไม่รู้) went out on Channel 3 on 5 November 2022, two episodes, produced by Baanchan Production. It follows a medical student who wants to be an idol and hides that ambition from a surgeon father. On 19 November 2022 GAP (ทฤษฎีสีชมพู) premiered, twelve episodes produced by Idol Factory and carried on both YouTube and Channel 3. Patty wrote the screenplay from a novel. Mon, newly graduated, takes an internship at a large company because she admires its chairwoman, Sam.
Dhevaprom (ดวงใจเทวพรหม) followed in March 2024, a Channel 3 lakorn on which Patty is credited across seventeen episodes. The most recent credit is Runaway (หนีไปก็ตายเปล่า), eight episodes from 4 November 2025, again produced by Baanchan Production for Channel 3 and YouTube and again a girls’ love series. Its premise is horror: a woman with one hundred and sixty eight hours left to live, pursued by a vengeful spirit.
The novel behind GAP is by Chao Planoy, who is credited on the series as its source. In the screen version Mon is played by Rebecca Patricia Armstrong and Sam by Sarocha Chankimha, and the two leads carried the series to a very large audience online.
Two girls’ love series written by Patty reached air fourteen days apart in November 2022, on two different production setups.
GAP is the title usually named when Thai GL comes up, while Love of Secret, at two episodes, is rarely mentioned outside Thailand. Patty writes queer romance and conventional Channel 3 drama in the same years, with Dhevaprom and Sin of Love sitting beside the girls’ love work rather than apart from it.
One production company runs through the genre credits: Baanchan Production made Love of Secret in 2022 and Runaway in 2025, both for Channel 3, both written by Patty, which puts the same writer and producer at both ends of a three year span.
Each of the three girls’ love credits has its own setting: a medical student hiding an idol ambition, a graduate taking an internship at a large company, and a horror chase against a clock. Episode counts across all six credits run from two to twenty-two, with the longest, Sin of Love, being the first credit of 2018 and the shortest, Love of Secret, arriving four years later. The 2022 pair and the 2025 series are the only girls’ love credits, so every credit from 2024 onward except Runaway belongs to mainstream drama.
In my view GAP is the natural place to meet this writer, because its whole premise can be said in one line: a graduate admires the woman who runs a company, then finds herself working beneath her. Runaway sits at the other end of the list, where a countdown of hours sets the pace instead of an office.
