Rina Chatamonchai
BIOGRAPHY
Rina Chatamonchai (มีนา ศุภประภัสสร), who works under the nickname Meena, is a Thai-Iranian actor and model born on 12 October 1997. She studied at Rangsit University. She has eight screen credits and five of them are queer drama, one Boys’ Love and four Girls’ Love, which makes her one of the more consistently present figures in Thai GL.
She began in Bite Me (ส่งร้อน เสิร์ฟรัก) in 2021, playing Chef Eve across eleven episodes of the ONE 31 Boys’ Love series about a chef chasing a cooking championship who is pulled back to life by a delivery rider. In 2022 she appeared in the ONE 31 group’s horror-music series Rose In Da House as Kaotan, and in 2024 she played Kaimuk in Bangkok Blossom (บางกอกคณิกา), the eight-episode ONE 31 period drama set in 1892, about three women who stand up and fight for their own futures and for women’s rights.
Her Girls’ Love work runs through the same years. She plays Rata in the three-episode Delete Your Past (ลบเธอให้หาย) in June 2024, Priao in About Galaxy (มูลค่าดาวล้านดวง) for Y.entertainment, and Jiu in Petrichor (หยดฝนกลิ่นสนิม), the ten-episode ONE 31 and iQIYI thriller that ran from 23 November 2024 to 1 February 2025, in which a police captain and a doctor pursue a serial killer.
Her next credit moves her to the front. In Under Her Rules (ใต้เงาจันทรา), the iQIYI International Girls’ Love series produced by MGI BEYOND and dated 17 October 2026, she plays Alice, a new graduate whose relationship with her formidable boss Nannalin becomes the story. She is the protagonist rather than part of the surrounding cast.
BLGLFlix editorial view
She is usually introduced through one supporting role, Jiu in Petrichor. She has eight credits, five of them queer, spread over five years, and she carries Under Her Rules as its lead. Describing her by that one part is accurate about the part and wrong about her.
The shape of her filmography is genuinely unusual. Most performers in Thai queer drama sit on one side of the line, and the ones who cross it usually do so once. She has a BL and four GLs, and the BL came first, in 2021, before Thai GL had really begun as a commercial category. She has also spent that time working inside ONE 31’s orbit on non-queer drama, including an 1892-set period piece about women’s rights, which is the kind of credit that rarely makes it onto a page like this and probably should.
Two of her credits, Bite Me and Petrichor, belong to the ONE 31 queer slate, a list that runs to at least twenty-one titles beginning in 2016: SOTUS in 2016; Thank God It’s Friday and Theory of Love in 2019; Nitiman and Bite Me in 2021; Laws of Attraction and Only Friends in 2023; Century of Love, Petrichor and Your Sky in 2024; ClaireBell, Reloved, Taste and Khemjira in 2025; and Magic Move, Class Crush Crisis, Flower Boy, The Edge of Horizon, Fairway of Love, Mr. Fanboy and WEIRDO-101 in 2026.
Read that as a floor rather than a total. Petrichor alone moves the channel’s first Girls’ Love series back to November 2024, well before the 2025 and 2026 titles that usually get named as the start. A running total assembled from supporting-actor filmographies grows every time another one is opened, which is the honest reason no version of that list should be published as complete.
