Sam Lin is a Taiwanese actor, singer and television host. He trained in dance at Hua Gang Arts School in Taipei and then studied in the Performing Arts Department of Nan Qiang Commercial and Industrial Vocational High School. He entered the entertainment industry in 2012 through Comic Ritz International Production and debuted that year as a first generation member of the boy group SpeXial, where he was the main rapper. He appeared in idol dramas including KO One Return in 2012 and Moon River in 2015, then completed compulsory military service between May 2015 and May 2016. He released the solo single Uncategorized in September 2016 and formed the music duo Dragon Tiger Brothers with fellow SpeXial member Brent Hsu in 2019. He left SpeXial in 2020 and signed with TVBS. In 2021 he played Gao Shi De, one of the two leads of the boys love series We Best Love: No. 1 For You and its sequel. Later credits include Golden Dream on Green Island and Love on a Shoestring.
