BIOGRAPHY
Tinna Simapaisal (ติณณา สิมะไพศาล) is a Thai screenwriter with credits from 2015 to 2026, and seven of them are GL series.
The other work is ordinary Thai television at ordinary Thai lengths: Love Beyond Frontier (อุบัติรักข้ามขอบฟ้า, 2019, thirteen episodes), The Sand Princess (เจ้าหญิงเม็ดทราย, 2019, fifteen), Unlucky Ploy (ชีช้ำกะหล่ำพลอย, 2020, twenty), Conniving Bedfellows (ชายแพศยา, 2023, eighteen), a screenstory credit on Start-Up (สตาร์ทอัพ, 2024, sixteen), the twenty two episode horror comedy 6th Sense Agency (บ้านผูกวิญญาณ, 2024) for Workpoint TV, Dear My Secretary (2025, sixteen) and The Sandy Effect (แซนดี้ ครูแสนดี, 2025, fourteen). The list starts earlier, in 2015, with Bu Ram Pram Pra and Tai Ngao Jan, and 2025 also brought Mu-Girl Miracle Matchmaking, thirteen episodes about a woman approaching thirty who trusts fortune and fate, and The Yarns, a twelve episode crime thriller.
The GL work begins in 2024 with The Loyal Pin (ปิ่นภักดิ์), sixteen episodes from 4 August 2024, adapted from a Mon Maew novel and produced by Idol Factory for Workpoint TV and YouTube. Kittisak Cheewasatjasakun directed. Sarocha Chankimha and Becky Armstrong lead. The same year came The Secret of Us, eight episodes about Dr. Fahlada, known as the angel doctor, who meets again the ex-girlfriend who hurt her. In 2025 a second Mon Maew adaptation followed, Somewhere Somehow (รัก ปาก แข็ง), thirteen episodes on Workpoint TV from 8 August to 26 October, directed by Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod, with Kanyaphat Na Nakhon as Kee and Yada Watcharamusik as Peem.
Then, in 2026, came more, eight episodes each, produced by North Star Entertainment and carried by Channel 7 and iQIYI International:
- The Earth (วิวาห์ปฐพี), 24 January 2026. An heir returns to Chiang Rai from America when her stepparent falls into a coma.
- The Water (นทีร้อยเล่ห์), 21 March 2026. A hotel group heir meets a new receptionist with a talent for trouble.
- The Air (เสน่หาวาโย), 16 May 2026. A princess visiting Thailand becomes a target when a coup breaks out at home.
A fourth title in the sequence, The Fire (โซ่รักอัคนี), followed on 11 July 2026, completing an elemental set released roughly every two months.
Tinna Simapaisal wrote three girls’ love series for Channel 7 in 2026, released in January, March and May, after two in 2024 and one in 2025.
Each of the Channel 7 series runs eight episodes, while The Loyal Pin for Idol Factory ran sixteen and Somewhere Somehow thirteen. The other credits run from twelve to twenty two episodes, the longest being the horror comedy 6th Sense Agency for Workpoint TV.
In my view the calendar is the clearest way to read this career. Until 2023 the credits sit in mainstream television. The year 2024 brought The Loyal Pin and The Secret of Us beside Start-Up and 6th Sense Agency, 2025 added Somewhere Somehow among four other titles, and the 2026 sequence then landed from 24 January to 16 May, a span of under four months for three screenplays. The Channel 7 set moved the working unit from a sixteen episode run to eight episode installments, and if I had to pick one place to start, I would pick The Loyal Pin for its period setting.
