Sky Valley

Sky Valley is a thirteen-episode Philippine series from Oxin Films, made in partnership with Calton Studios and directed by Xion Lim. It ran free on the Oxin Films YouTube channel between 20 July and 12 October 2024, with episodes of roughly forty-seven minutes, and is set at Sky Valley Park, a mountain resort in Zamboanga City, which the production used as its location and named the series after.

Two romances run side by side. Junjun works the resort's trails as a horseman and finds himself drawn to Fourth, a guest who will not explain what brought him up the mountain. In the second thread Paris, a vlogger from Manila, falls for Taylor, the daughter of the resort's owner. Jabo moves between the two groups. The park holds both stories in the same frame: the same paths, the same staff, the same weather, and two sets of people working out what they are doing in a place that everybody else is only visiting.

This is the only record in the current Philippine group carrying a girls' love couple alongside its boys' love leads, and the producers billed it that way from the start, describing it in their own listings as a boys' love and girls' love series. Philippine BL has produced a substantial body of work since 2020; GL has not kept pace, and a title that carries both in one cast remains uncommon enough to be worth stating plainly. Oxin Films, which had already made My Day and My Story and would go on to make Boyfriend Express in 2026, is the same studio behind all four.

Two things about the record should be stated openly. No screenwriter is credited in the sources consulted for this entry, which for a thirteen-episode series carrying two interleaved storylines is a real gap rather than a formality, and the field is therefore left empty here. The location, by contrast, is unusually well documented: the producers' own listings name Sky Valley Park in Zamboanga City, which puts the series some distance from the Manila settings that dominate the rest of the Philippine titles in this catalogue.
