BIOGRAPHY

Poomsuwan Suwansatit (Thai: ภูมิสุวรรณ สุวรรณสถิตย์; nicknamed Almond; born October 30, 2007) is a Thai actor signed to GMMTV. He attended Yothinburana School and began his entertainment career in 2024 under the agency Tia51 before transitioning to GMMTV in May 2025.

Almond made his acting debut in 2024 as Pun in the ensemble Thai drama Love Sick, alongside fellow newcomer Passawish “Progress” Thamasungkeeti. The two shared a special Rookie of the Year award at the Thailand Box Office Awards 2024 for the series. He went on to appear in the variety program Sound Check (2024) and the online special A Free Meal Chance. May Pepsi Treat You? (2025).

In 2026, Almond took his first lead role as Khanin “Ko Song” Sirithara in the GMMTV series When Oranges Fall, again alongside Progress, who plays Krittin “Ko Neung” Yingkhun. The series, adapted from the novel of the same name by Littleskyofme, premiered on GMM25 on May 13, 2026.

Music has been part of his work from the start. He sang “ขอแค่เป็น” for the Love Sick soundtrack and “สั่น” (Shake) with the Love Sick cast in 2024, and the same year recorded “ให้เธอเป็นทะเล” with Progress. For When Oranges Fall he recorded the opening theme “Worth the Wait” (คุ้มค่าการรอคอย) with Progress, and “Season of You” (ฤดูกาลที่มีเธอ) with Satang Kittiphop. In 2026 he also featured on “Butterflies” with Pup Potato for Riser Music.

When Oranges Fall runs twelve episodes and is set in a 1990s high school, where oranges from Ko Song’s tree land in the yard of his neighbor and classmate Ko Neung and turn an early dislike into a close friendship. Siwaj Sawatmaneekul directs, and the wider cast includes Kanthee Limpitikranon as Augar, Tanan Lohawatanakul as Achi, Justin Angus Moir as August and Sitthithat Tungtisanon as Tle. The series airs on Wednesdays on GMM25 and OneD, and GMMTV produces it together with Studio Wabi Sabi.

Almond has been named for Rookie of the Year honours in two consecutive years.

The Thailand Box Office Awards shared a special Rookie of the Year award between him and Progress in 2024, and the Mint Awards 2025 nominated them in the same category. His first lead role followed in When Oranges Fall.

His path is short and closely timed. He moved from Tia51 to GMMTV in May 2025, and When Oranges Fall premiered on May 13, 2026, about a year after that move. Between his 2024 debut in Love Sick and the lead role lie two variety and online appearances, Sound Check and the Pepsi special, which gave him screen time as himself before he carried a character. One partner runs through every stage: Progress appeared beside him in the debut drama, shared the Rookie of the Year award, stood with him in the Kazz Awards Couple of the Year nomination and plays Ko Neung opposite Ko Song.

In my view, Almond’s early career is unusually well documented by his own recordings. Between 2024 and 2026 he sang for a drama soundtrack, a group single, a duet with Progress and a guest feature, so a listener can follow his progress by ear as well as on screen. What stayed with me is the choice of songs: a duet theme suits a story built around two neighbors. I would suggest hearing “Worth the Wait” after the first episodes of When Oranges Fall.
