Jakarin Puribhat took the Pichaneshvara Award for Outstanding Young Male Actor for สุดแค้นแสนรัก, in which he played Yongyut as a boy. Two more credits followed in 2017, and then the record goes quiet until Your Dear Daddy in 2026, where he plays Maenmueang.

Being cast as a character’s earlier self is a category of work that expires. The part exists to explain an adult the audience is watching, and it is written for a specific age. When the actor passes that age there is no equivalent role waiting, and a great deal of talent recognised at fourteen never converts into anything at twenty.
