Sirilak Lingling Kwong - Thai actress from The Secret of Us

Sirilak Kwong

BIOGRAPHY

Sirilak Kwong (Thai: ศิริลักษณ์ คอง; born May 11, 1995), known by the nickname Lingling, is a Thai-Hong Kong actor signed to Channel 3 HD. She plays Dr. Fahlada Thananusak opposite co-star Kornnaphat Sethratanapong in the 2024 GL series The Secret of Us.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, with Second Class Honours, from Khon Kaen University International College, after completing her secondary education at Kalasin Pittayasarn School.

She was born in Hong Kong and moved to Thailand at the age of seventeen. She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Thai. Her listed screen career began in 2019, when she signed with Channel 3 HD, and most of her work since has been made for that broadcaster.

The Secret of Us is an adaptation of a novel by Meenam, directed by Saratswadee Wongsomphet. It ran for eight episodes from 24 June to 12 August 2024 on Channel 3, with streaming on YouTube and Netflix. Kwong plays Fahlada, a dermatologist at her family’s hospital. Two years after an abrupt breakup she meets her former girlfriend Earn again, and as Earn tries to win her back she begins to learn the real reason Earn left. The series won Masterpiece of the Year at the HUB Awards 2024 for both leads, and it took Best Couple at the Thailand Box Office Awards.

Her subsequent credits include Only You (2025), a fourteen episode series for Channel 3 and Netflix produced by BEC World Original and directed again by Saratswadee Wongsomphet. It aired on Friday evenings from 18 July to 17 October 2025. She plays Rawee, known as Tawan, who runs a private security firm. Her client Ayla, an idol singer played by Kornnaphat Sethratanapong, is a woman she has not seen for eight years. The job brings back feelings from their childhood while family disapproval and real danger close in. In 2026 she is also in the cast of In Love Forever, playing Runchlaphat, called Runch.

Following The Secret of Us, she won Sao Wai Sai of the Year at the 2025 KAZZ Awards, Hottest Actress of the Year at the HOWE Awards, and Most Popular Actress of the Year at the KCL Awards, and was nominated for Best Actress at the 16th Nataraja Awards.

Sirilak Kwong won three awards in 2025, the year after The Secret of Us.

The Secret of Us is the 2024 Channel 3 production in which she plays Dr. Fahlada Thananusak, and the same broadcaster she is signed to through Channel 3 HD.

The honours came from separate bodies and named separate qualities. The KAZZ Awards gave her Sao Wai Sai of the Year, the HOWE Awards named her Hottest Actress of the Year and the KCL Awards chose her as Most Popular Actress of the Year, while the 16th Nataraja Awards placed her among the nominees for Best Actress. That makes four different ceremonies responding to one series, and the last of them is the only one that judges the performance itself as acting. Her path to that point was long: her listed activity begins in 2019, five years before the series, and she had moved from Hong Kong to Thailand at seventeen. Her schooling in Kalasin and her degree at the Khon Kaen University International College were completed in Thailand, in a tourism programme well away from the screen.

In my view, what stays with me about her Fahlada is the restraint. The part is a doctor who has decided not to reopen an old wound, and the drama lies in how long she holds that position, which is a harder thing to play than a confession. If you are choosing where to begin, I would start with The Secret of Us and let Only You show how she handles the opposite role, a security chief whose job is to stay calm around the person who unsettles her most.
