The Secret of Us

Fahlada Thananusak (Sirilak Kwong) is a doctor known around her hospital as the "angel doctor," carrying herself with quiet composure that hides the scars left by a relationship that ended badly years earlier. That composure is tested the moment Sanitada "Earn" Phongpipat (Kornnaphat Sethratanapong), the ex-girlfriend who once hurt her the most, is hired as the hospital's new brand spokesperson, placing the two women back in each other's daily orbit whether Fahlada is ready for it or not. What should be a straightforward professional arrangement instead reopens a wound neither of them ever fully addressed, forcing both women to work side by side while carefully avoiding the conversation they never finished.

As Fahlada tries to keep Earn at a professional distance, The Secret of Us traces exactly what went wrong between them the first time and whether either woman has changed enough to risk trying again. Colleagues Susi (Chatsak Mahata), Tan (Jakarin Puribhat), Bow (Dandao Yamapai), and Wisanu (Natthanit Praditthan) fill out the hospital setting around them, offering both comic relief and honest outside perspective on a reunion the two leads keep trying to deny. At home, Fahlada's parents, Russamee (Apasiri Nitibhon) and Phuthares (Paramej Noiam), and Earn's mother, Jintana (Narumon Phongsupap), add family history and old disapproval to a relationship that already has enough working against it, layering old misunderstandings on top of the daily pressure of a shared workplace.

Directed by Saratswadee Wongsomphet and written by Nitinun Supappong for Thai broadcaster Channel 3, The Secret of Us adapts the Thai novel ใจซ่อนรัก by author Mee Nam into an eight-episode series that aired weekly from June 24 to August 12, 2024. The show became a breakout hit for its two leads, with Sirilak Kwong and Kornnaphat Sethratanapong, known to fans as Ling and Orm, earning wide recognition for a slow-burn second-chance romance built on the everyday friction of working alongside the person who once broke your heart. The series went on to be recognized as one of the year's most popular Thai GL titles, propelling both actors into a string of high-profile brand partnerships and follow-up roles.
