Keann Johnson

Keann Johnson (born December 6, 1999) is a Filipino actor and model. He is Luke Armada in the two records this catalogue holds him on, which are a film and its continuation: The Boy Foretold by the Stars (2020) and Love Beneath the Stars (2021), opposite Adrian Lindayag as Dominic in both.

He had been working since his mid-teens. His earliest listed credits are the 2015 programme Hot and Cold and, in 2017, the anthologies Tadhana and Maynila alongside the film My Ex and Whys. Independent film followed: Wild N Free (2018), then Santigwar and Bilibid or Not (both 2019). He is represented by Viva Artists Agency, whose roster lists him as a young actor, model and endorser.

The role that changed his standing was Luke, the basketball player at the centre of The Boy Foretold by the Stars. The film was written and directed by Dolly Dulu, produced by Clever Minds Inc., The Dolly Collection and Brainstormers Lab, released on 25 December 2020 into the Metro Manila Film Festival, and it won Second Best Picture, Best Original Soundtrack and the Gender Sensitivity Award there. Johnson was nominated for Best Actor at the 44th Gawad Urian in October 2021, in a category that also contained his co-lead for the same film. He returned as Luke for the sequel series, co-produced by Dreamscape Entertainment and Clever Minds Inc.

Since then he has appeared in the film Run (2021) and Pasahero (2024), and on television in Marry Me, Marry You (2021 to 2022), Chasing in the Wild and Sem Break (both 2024).
