Namfon Sueangsuda Lawanprasert

Namfon Sueangsuda Lawanprasert (Thai: น้ำฝน สรวงสุดา ลาวัณย์ประเสริฐ; born July 30, 1977) is a Thai actor, model and beauty pageant titleholder. She won Miss Thailand 1997 and represented the country at Miss Universe 1997. In the 2026 Domundi TV historical Boys’ Love series Love Upon a Time she plays Prayong across twelve episodes, one of the Ayutthaya-era figures holding a piece of the truth about Klao’s disappearance.

She was born in Nakhon Nayok province, north-east of Bangkok, and attended Mala Sawanpitya School before taking a bachelor’s degree in communications. Her route into the industry was the pageant circuit rather than acting school: the 34th Miss Thailand crown in 1997 came first, and the screen work followed.

Her earliest documented screen credit is the 2002 film Butterfly in Grey, in which she played Dao, followed the next year by Dr. Da across twelve episodes of The Twelve Zodiacs and, in 2005, Jenjila in the action film The Tiger Blade. English Wikipedia dates her television career from 2002 onward, and it has run without a break since, across Channel 3, Channel 5, Channel 7, Channel 8, Channel 9, Thai PBS, One 31 and Workpoint TV.

Almost all of that work is in supporting and character roles, most often mothers, aunts and women of standing, and it is voluminous: TMDB records 59 credits, with six separate series released in 2025 alone, among them Thieves of Hearts as Khunying Kirati, Bua & Kwan: The Opposites of Love & Hate as Tong, and Haunted Mansion as Duangkhae. Earlier entries include Evil Rose Becomes Love (2011), Fruits From Different Trees (2012), Chaat Payak (2016), Rak Nakara (2017) and P.S. I Hate You (2022).

The route to Love Upon a Time runs through The Next Prince (2025), in which she played Chita Phithakthewa across fourteen episodes. That series is also a Domundi TV production, which puts her inside the studio a year before the 2026 title. Love Upon a Time is her second time-travel drama in three years: she appeared in the Workpoint TV series Blondie in an Ancient Time (2024) as Fueang. She is a Leo, born in the year of the Snake.
