BIOGRAPHY
Namfon Sueangsuda Lawanprasert (Thai: น้ำฝน สรวงสุดา ลาวัณย์ประเสริฐ; born July 30, 1977) is a Thai actor, model and beauty pageant titleholder. She won Miss Thailand 1997 and represented the country at Miss Universe 1997. In the 2026 Domundi TV historical Boys’ Love series Love Upon a Time she plays Prayong across twelve episodes, one of the Ayutthaya-era figures holding a piece of the truth about Klao’s disappearance.
She was born in Nakhon Nayok province, north-east of Bangkok, and attended Mala Sawanpitya School before taking a bachelor’s degree in communications. Her route into the industry was the pageant circuit rather than acting school: the 34th Miss Thailand crown in 1997 came first, and the screen work followed.
Her earliest screen credit is the 2002 film Butterfly in Grey, in which she played Dao. The next year she played Dr. Da across twelve episodes of The Twelve Zodiacs, and in 2005 she played Jenjila in the action film The Tiger Blade. Her television career runs from 2002 onward, across Channel 3, Channel 5, Channel 7, Channel 8, Channel 9, Thai PBS, One 31 and Workpoint TV.
Almost all of her work is in supporting and character roles, and she has 59 screen credits. Six productions were released in 2025 alone: Thieves of Hearts as Khunying Kirati, Bua & Kwan: The Opposites of Love & Hate as Tong, Haunted Mansion as Duangkhae, Rak OVERDOSE as Jaeng, The Next Prince as Chita Phithakthewa, and the film The Tutor. Earlier credits include Evil Rose Becomes Love (2011), Fruits From Different Trees (2012), Chaat Payak (2016), Rak Nakara (2017) and P.S. I Hate You (2022).
She played Chita Phithakthewa across fourteen episodes of The Next Prince (2025), a Domundi TV production, the year before Love Upon a Time. In 2024 she appeared as Fueang in the Workpoint TV time-travel series Blondie in an Ancient Time.
The Next Prince was directed by Aoftion Kittipat Jampa, who founded Domundi TV and is executive producer of Love Upon a Time, so her two most recent Domundi roles sit under the same studio head.
Namfon Sueangsuda Lawanprasert returned to Domundi TV for Love Upon a Time one year after The Next Prince.
In The Next Prince (2025) she played Chita Phithakthewa across fourteen episodes. In Love Upon a Time (2026) she plays Prayong across twelve.
Both series are Domundi TV productions, and her two roles add up to twenty-six episodes in consecutive years.
In my view what stands out is how much of her list is small, exact work: Dr. Da, Fueang, Chita and Prayong are each a named role with a clear job in someone else’s story. For a first look at her, The Next Prince and Love Upon a Time make a natural pair, a year apart at Domundi.
