Sammon

Sammon (Thai: แซมม่อน; born June 13, 1991) is the pen name of Isaree Siriwankulthon, a Thai novelist, screenwriter and practising family doctor from Chiang Mai. She is credited with the screen story for the 2026 revenge thriller Payback, adapting samK’s Korean webtoon for Thai television.

Medicine runs through her writing. Her best-known novels are built on clinical and forensic settings: Manner of Death (พฤติการณ์ที่ตาย), which turns on a forensic pathologist, and Triage (ปฏิบัติการรัก), named for the emergency-room sorting protocol. She has also worked as a medical consultant on drama productions, including Once a Doctor, Always a Doctor, and is known in Thai fandom as Dr. Sam (หมอแซม).

Her screen career begins in 2019, when Triage was adapted as a film with her credited on the original story. Manner of Death followed as a series in 2020. From there came Bite Me (2021), on which she took both writing and creator credits across eleven episodes; the Triage series (2022) across thirteen; Make a Wish (2023); and Dead Friend Forever (2023), where she wrote the screenplay for all twelve episodes.

2024 was her busiest year: screenplays for 4MINUTES (eight episodes) and Petrichor (ten), plus the original story for Spare Me Your Mercy (eight), a medical-ethics story. 4MINUTES is the direct line to Payback: its producer, Rungrapee Kingkaew, also produced Payback, and four Payback cast members appeared in it or in Spare Me Your Mercy, namely Fuaiz Thanawat Shinawatra, Lilly Sarinya Olsson, Gandhi Wasuvitchayagit and Pu Yasaka Chaisorn.

Her published novels include Manner of Death, Triage, Make a Wish (ภารกิจนายเทวดา), Grab a Bite (ส่งร้อน เสิร์ฟรัก), Transplant (ปลูก ถ่าย ตาย) and Lost on the River. She posts as sammonscene on Instagram and @Sammon_scene on X, and a cameo appearance by her in Payback itself is credited.
