The Missing Piece
What happens
The Missing Piece (Chinese title 请记住我的名字) is a Chinese boys' love series in fifteen episodes that premiered on 7 September 2026 and runs to 24 October 2026. It is adapted from the novel Mao He Shen Li (貌合神离) by Kun Yi Wei Lou, and it is also known as 季先生, Mr. Ji.
After an accident leaves him with amnesia, Shen Mo mistakes Ji Mingxuan, the man who rescued him, for his lover, and he falls in love with him in earnest. When Shen Mo's memory returns, the six months they spent together are erased from his mind. To keep Shen Mo at his side, Ji Mingxuan proposes a contract arrangement that is to last three years. On the surface the two are a patron and a lover bound by terms, but in reality both men are sinking deeper into each other.
The story is set in an urban world of cold calculation and quiet restraint. Ji Mingxuan is a forceful and cold man, and Shen Mo is gentle and holds his feelings back. As a former lover's storyline and family secrets come to light and the lost memories start to stir again, the series asks whether a piece of paper can still restrain two people who are already in love.
Rao Zi Hao plays Shen Mo and Zhu Hou plays Ji Mingxuan. The first two episodes arrived together on 7 September 2026, and the remaining episodes follow on Saturdays and Sundays. Each episode runs for about 35 minutes, and the series can be watched on GagaOOLala and on the official BXY BL Dramas YouTube channel.
