MarcPoon

MarcPoon is the pairing of GMMTV actors Marc Natarit Worakornlertsith and Poon Mitpakdee. It was formed for We Are (คือเรารักกัน, 2024), where Marc played Chain and Poon played Pun across all sixteen episodes, the role that became Poon’s breakthrough.

The two share the We Are soundtrack credit “แอบเพื่อน (Hidden Love)”, released 19 June 2024 and credited in the order “Marc Natarit, Poon Mitpakdee”. Both appeared again in Perfect 10 Liners the same year.

Marc had the longer prior career of the two, debuting in 2018 and working under the name Pahun Jiyacharoen before his current credit; Poon came to We Are with far fewer credits and it remains his best-known role.

Where the pairing stands. On 19 August 2025 GMMTV announced a set of cast changes that separated the two: Marc was replaced as Chain in A Dog and A Plane, and Poon was moved off that production and cast as North in My Romance Scammer. The agency framed the announcement as scheduling and role-suitability decisions and did not use the word ended. Some encyclopaedic sources read the same announcement as the pairing being wound up. Both readings are reported because the primary announcement does not settle the question. What is not in dispute: both remain GMMTV actors, and they have had no shared credit since 2024.

Every genre label on the pairing’s record belongs to the same family.

We Are carries college, friendship, ensemble, coming of age, comedy, drama and romance. There is no crime, no fantasy and no horror anywhere in the pairing’s joint record here.

A campus ensemble asks for a particular kind of screen work. The pair are one thread inside a larger group of friends rather than the only couple on screen. That is precisely what the ensemble label on the record is there to capture.

Sixteen episodes give that thread room to develop at its own pace. There is no plot machinery of the kind a thriller or a mystery would have to carry. The friendship and coming of age labels do the work that a genre hook does elsewhere.

The rating follows the logic the genres set. The record runs at 13+, and nothing in the label set pushes it higher. Broadcast ran from 3 April 2024 to 17 July 2024 on GMM 25, with iQIYI in parallel.

The pairing with the widest experience gap of the four in We Are, Marc arrived with six years of credits behind him, Poon with almost none, and the series uses that contrast rather than smoothing it over. Their shared soundtrack single is the clearest marker that GMMTV treated them as a unit rather than as two actors who happened to share an arc. Both have worked separately since 2024.

TRIVIA & FUN FACTS

  • Name order comes from the official soundtrack credit, “แอบเพื่อน (Hidden Love)” is credited “Marc Natarit, Poon Mitpakdee”, Marc first. The reverse spelling appears in fan usage but not in GMMTV’s own credits.
  • Poon’s breakthrough was Pun in We Are, and it remains his best-known role.
  • Marc has an earlier credited name: Pahun Jiyacharoen, which still appears in listings for his pre-2022 work.
  • Both appeared in Perfect 10 Liners (2024), Marc as Pond. That is the last production the two share.
  • Their careers diverged in 2025. Marc went on to MuTeLuv (2025), Dare You to Death (2025) and Weirdo-101 (2026); Poon to Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist and The Dark Dice (2025), then Missing and My Romance Scammer (2026).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who are MarcPoon?

MarcPoon is the pairing of Thai actors Marc Natarit Worakornlertsith and Poon Mitpakdee, both signed to GMMTV.

What series have MarcPoon been in together?

We Are (2024), where Marc played Chain and Poon played Pun across all sixteen episodes, and Perfect 10 Liners (2024). They have no shared credit after 2024.

Are MarcPoon still a pairing?

This page lists them as on hiatus rather than as active or ended, and the reason is worth stating plainly. On 19 August 2025 GMMTV announced cast changes that moved the two apart, and the agency described those changes in terms of scheduling and role suitability rather than announcing that the pairing had ended. Some encyclopaedic sources read the same announcement as the pairing being dissolved. Because the primary announcement does not say that, this site does not assert it. What is confirmed: both actors remain with GMMTV, both are working, and neither has shared a credit with the other since 2024.

Is it MarcPoon or PoonMarc?

GMMTV’s own soundtrack credit for “แอบเพื่อน (Hidden Love)” lists them as “Marc Natarit, Poon Mitpakdee”, so this site records the pairing as MarcPoon. The reverse order circulates in fan usage.

Are Marc and Poon a real-life couple?

No. Marc and Poon were paired for screen work under GMMTV, and no public statement by either actor reaches past that, leaving the dating entry at unconfirmed.

Did MarcPoon release a song together?

Yes. “แอบเพื่อน (Hidden Love)” from the We Are soundtrack, released 19 June 2024.

Why are some fields on this page empty?

Four entries stay blank: fandom name, official pair hashtag, joint Spotify link and joint awards. No source this site accepts has published a value for any of them.

A pairing page documents on-screen work and publicly stated fandom naming only; BLGLFLIX makes no claim about anyone’s private life. Where no performer or agency has publicly confirmed an off-screen relationship, none is recorded here, and this site does not publish speculation. An empty field means a value could not be verified, not that none exists. Full copyright, correction and takedown policy: Disclaimer.
