OhmNanon
The OhmNanon pairing began in 2021 with Bad Buddy, in which Pawat Chittsawangdee, known as Ohm, played Pat and Korapat Kirdpan, known as Nanon, played Pran. GMMTV produced the twelve episode series, which aired on GMM 25 and WeTV from 29 October 2021 to 21 January 2022. Aof Noppharnach Chaiyahwimhon directed it, and it is adapted from the novel Behind The Scenes by Afterday and -West-.
The two characters are rivals who live next door to each other, which gives the pairing a fixed relationship before a single scene is played. The series drew awards at both the series level and the couple level: WeTV Best of Thai Series, PCA 2021 Best Thai Drama and, for the pair, the Kazz Awards 2022 Best Couple.
From the premiere on 29 October 2021 to the finale on 21 January 2022 is 84 days, exactly twelve weeks, for twelve episodes. The calendar and the episode count sit close together, and the pairing was formed inside that window.
The music adds a second layer. Nanon sings Just Friend? and Our Song for the series, and Just Friend? later won Best Theme Song at the 27th Asian Television Awards. The actor who plays Pran therefore appears in the story and on its soundtrack.
The individual profiles cover each actor’s other work: Ohm and Nanon. The series page for Bad Buddy gives the full cast, the production details and the awards, and it links back to the pairing.

Pat and Pran start from opposition. The two live next door to each other and belong to rival camps, so the early scenes are built from friction, and the rest of the series is the work of letting that friction change. Ohm plays Pat and Nanon plays Pran, which sets up a back and forth that the story can use for comedy and for tension.

The same director, Aof, handled a campus setting in Dark Blue Kiss, and in Bad Buddy he gives the two leads a long run of shared scenes. With twelve episodes and a clear rivals to lovers arc, the pairing has room to move from open competition to something closer, and the Kazz Awards recognition shows the pair was named as a couple within a year of the finale.

The series is a manageable first Thai BL: twelve episodes over twelve weeks. The soundtrack is part of the draw, since the lead actor performs two of the songs, and the official trailer on the GMMTV channel is a quick way to see the two leads together before starting.
