BIOGRAPHY

Harit Buayoi (Thai: หฤษฎ์ บัวย้อย; born 19 August 1999 in Phayao), known as Keng, is a Thai actor and model signed to Domundi TV, with twelve screen credits. He holds a degree from the University of Phayao’s School of Education, and he grew up in the same province, where he was training to become a Thai language teacher before acting took over.

The turn came in 2023, when he joined Domundi TV as part of its third generation through the reality programme DMD Friendship. There he won the Best Partner award alongside Napatsakorn Pingmuang, known as Namping. His first screen credit dates from December 2023 on DMD Friendship The Reality, where he is credited three separate ways across the run: as a contestant in six episodes, as a judge in one and as a guest in another. In March 2024 he featured across ten episodes of the Japanese programme Sawatdee Khrap T-Boys!!.

His first film role was Jingna in The Paradise of Thorns (August 2024), and he returned to cinema as Alex Kim in Beauty and the Beat (December 2025). The Paradise of Thorns was the feature debut of director Naruebet Kuno and was produced by GDH 559, with Jeff Satur and Engfa Waraha in the leading roles. It opened in Thailand on 22 August 2024, had its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on 6 September, runs 131 minutes, and arrived on Netflix in January 2025. Its story follows a couple who build a durian orchard together in Mae Hong Son, and what happens when one of them dies and the law does not recognise their relationship.

His largest television role is Pharan across all twelve episodes of Khemjira (เขมจิราต้องรอด), the Mandee Work supernatural drama that ran on ONE 31 between 9 August and 25 October 2025, where he is billed first. Pharan is a young and skilled white shaman, and the series is led by Keng and Namping together, so the partnership first recognised on the reality show became the central pairing of his first lead drama less than two years later. The series is adapted from a novel and follows Khem, who is born into a cursed family in which sons are said to die before they reach twenty one, so his mother gives him a feminine name, Khemjira, in the hope that it will protect him. As his twenty first birthday comes closer, a shaman from Ubon Ratchathani becomes the key to his survival. He also played Korn across three episodes of Me and Who (October 2025), Pat across seven of Zomvivor (October 2025) and a single episode of ChermChey (May 2026). He is also credited as Likhit in Magic Lover and as Phumek or Duean in Still Holding Up Like the Moon.

Seen in sequence, the run is compact. Between August 2024 and May 2026 he moved from a film debut to a first-billed television lead, then to supporting parts in three further series, all within about two and a half years of his first appearance on camera.

Harit Buayoi is billed first in Khemjira, playing Pharan in all twelve episodes.

His screen work began in December 2023 on DMD Friendship The Reality, followed by the Japanese programme Sawatdee Khrap T-Boys!! in March 2024 and the film The Paradise of Thorns in August 2024.

On DMD Friendship The Reality he holds three separate credits, as a contestant, a judge and a guest.

In my view, the path he took is an unusual one. He began as a teacher in training, went through a reality programme, and then appeared in a major Thai feature film before he had a single drama lead to his name. The long supernatural drama that followed gave him twelve episodes to carry. If you are new to him, I would start with Khemjira, where the whole story rests on a pairing he already had off screen, and then watch The Paradise of Thorns to see him on the big screen in a very different kind of story.
