Keetawat Chinnakote
BIOGRAPHY
Keetawat Chinnakote is a Thai producer and music professional. The credits start in sound and move into producing without leaving sound behind, across Thai horror and Thai queer cinema.
The earliest credits are musical. Music on the horror anthology School Tales (เรื่องผีมีอยู่ว่า.., 12 January 2017). Music score producer on Pee Nak (พี่นาค, 21 February 2019). Music supervisor on Pee Nak 3 (17 March 2022). Most recently, original music composer on Pee Nak 5 (3 March 2026). These are four credits across nine years.
In November 2022 the job description changes. Keetawat is credited as producer on Finding the Rainbow (สุดท้าย…ที่ปลายรุ้ง), a fourteen episode romance from VelCurve Studio, directed and co-written by Thanadol Nuansut, whose story runs across the Black May events of 1992, September 2001 and the pandemic of 2021. The series is not classified as BL or GL.
Then Uranus 2324 (ยูเรนัส 2324, 4 July 2024), a girls’ love science fiction feature running one hundred and forty eight minutes, again from VelCurve Studio and again directed by Thanadol Nuansut. Keetawat holds three credits on it at once: executive producer, producer and sound supervisor. The score is by Ekkaphop Khioyasit and Teeraphong Pathumrat, Arnon Chunprasert shot it, and Pongsapak Akkaramongkolchai and Teppharit Sutthichaiya designed the sound.
In Uranus 2324, Sarocha Chankimha and Rebecca Patricia Armstrong play the leads, Lin and Kath, two childhood friends who try to reconnect after an unhappy parting. One is an astronaut and the other a free diver, and the story is set in a futuristic world. The film later reached Netflix and Amazon Prime Video in more than twenty countries.
Keetawat Chinnakote was composing for Pee Nak 5 in March 2026, less than two years after the three credits on Uranus 2324.
VelCurve Studio and director Thanadol Nuansut stand behind both producing credits, Finding the Rainbow in 2022 and Uranus 2324 in 2024.
The music work runs from School Tales in 2017 to Pee Nak 5, with a different music role on each of the four credits.
Laid on a timeline, the two producing credits sit in the middle of the Pee Nak music work. Pee Nak 3 came in March 2022, Finding the Rainbow eight months later in November 2022, Uranus 2324 twenty months after that in July 2024, and Pee Nak 5 another twenty months on in March 2026. The two stretches of producing work are therefore spaced at an identical interval, with the horror franchise bracketing both ends. The formats differ as well: a fourteen episode series first, then a single feature of one hundred and forty eight minutes, the only credit where sound supervision and both producer titles are held together. Across these years the work with Thanadol Nuansut and VelCurve Studio is the one relationship that repeats on the producing side, while the music side moves from one film to the next with a new title each time.
In my view the sound credit that survives on Uranus 2324, beside the two producer titles, is the clearest signature in this list. It is the one title where a single name stands at the head of the production and also over the sound.
