Kin Thanachai Sakchaicharoenkul

Thanachai Sakchaicharoenkul (Thai: ธนชัย ศักดิ์ชัยเจริญกุล; born 26 June 2004), known as Kin, is a Thai actor and singer signed to GMMTV since 15 July 2025. He reached acting by an unusual route: before he was known for anything on screen, he was known as an ice hockey player for Thailand.

He was educated at Lertlah School Kaset-Nawamin, then Saint Gabriel’s College for primary years one to five, then Anglo Singapore International School on Sukhumvit 64, which left him working in three languages, Thai, English and Chinese. He took a degree in economics at Kasetsart University, completing it in three and a half years, and has continued there for a master’s in the same field.

The sport came first and it was not a hobby. He won the Southeast Asian Youth Cup at under-15 level three years running, in 2017 in Malaysia, in 2018 and again in 2019 in Thailand, scoring eight goals across the 2019 tournament. In 2019 he also took the Thailand Youth Ice Hockey Championship with Canstar Rangers and finished the Bangkok Fly tournament with a win in the adults division and a runner-up place at under-16. His biggest result came at the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 Asia and Oceania Championship, held in Thailand, where Thailand beat Singapore 4-3 in the final and he scored three of those goals, finishing the tournament with nine. He was named an outstanding youth of the nation in 2018 and again in 2021, and received the Thailand Master Youth award for 2020 to 2021 as a role model in sport and recreation. In 2025 he played men’s ice hockey at the SEA Games in Bangkok.

Music came next. He recorded with the White Fox label under GMM Grammy, releasing WoW WoW WoW with Wonderframe and Ingfa in 2022 and Paper Plane with OG BOBBY for the Hotel Fox project in 2023.

On screen he began with the series รักร้าย on One31, playing the character Banthao as a teenager, and appeared in 4 เทพผู้พิทักษ์. His first leading role came in 2024 with เดือนพราง, adapted from a novel by Violet Rain and carried by One31 and WeTV. He moved to GMMTV in July 2025, and in 2026 appears in the Boys’ Love series You Maniac (เดี๋ยวจะรักซะให้บ้า).
