Takuya Kusakawa

Takuya Kusakawa (Japanese: 草川拓弥; born November 24, 1994) is a Japanese actor, singer and dancer signed to Stardust Promotion and a member of the nine-piece dance and vocal group Bullet Train (超特急), in which he performs under the stage name Takuya. To BL audiences he is best known as Rokkaku Yuta (六角祐太) in TV Tokyo’s Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! (2020) and its sequel film Cherry Magic! THE MOVIE (2022).

Kusakawa was born in Tokyo and was scouted by Stardust Promotion in 2007 on his way to football practice. He made his acting debut the following year in NTV’s Bimbo Danshi: Bonbi Men (2008), and his early screen work included the tokusatsu series Ultraman Ginga (2013-2014), in which he played Tomoya Ichijoji.

In March 2012 he joined Bullet Train as a main dancer, despite having no dance training at the time. The group places its dancers at the front and its vocalists behind them. Although he was recruited on the dance side, the group’s dancers also sing on record, and in recent years Bullet Train has released material with the vocals handled entirely by its four dancers. He is identified within the group as Car No. 4 and his member colour is green.

In 2022 he took the lead in TV Tokyo’s Minato Shoji Coin Laundry (みなと商事コインランドリー), a BL drama in which he starred opposite Sho Nishigaki, and he has since led the drama Business Marriage (2024). In Cherry Magic! his Rokkaku is a junior colleague at Adachi and Kurosawa’s company.

Kusakawa is credited as supporting cast on both the twelve-episode TV Tokyo series and its 2022 film sequel. He remains with Stardust Promotion’s third production division and continues to balance group activities with acting. His younger brother, NAOYA (草川直弥), also performs, in the group ONE N’ ONLY.
