What happens

Make It Right 2026 (Thai: รักออกเดิน 2026) is a Thai youth drama and a new version of the series Make It Right, which first aired in 2016 and 2017 and now returns for its ten year anniversary. It is adapted from the web novel Make It Right by Nakhian Badboyz, and it keeps the coming of age focus of the original: friendship, personal growth and the changing relationships of young people.

The drama is built as an ensemble. A cast of thirteen new actors, chosen through a casting process, plays thirteen characters, and several storylines run side by side instead of a single central plot. Boongkee Surasee Manoonpanich, Prommy Poonyawee Suwanvaree, Shane Thanatpong Thaveesapmanee and PeemKrit Krittapas Panitpongsathorn head the cast credits, and Boom Krittapak from the original series returns in a guest role.

Cheewin Thanamin Wongskulphat directs, Kwang Latika Chumpoo writes the screenplay, and Copy A Bangkok produces. Filming began on 10 May 2026. The first episode was released on 17 July 2026, and the drama runs weekly for twelve episodes of about 54 minutes each: the uncut version arrives first on Viu on Fridays at 8:00 PM, and Channel 9 MCOT HD broadcasts it on Saturdays at 10:30 PM. The finale is scheduled for 2 October 2026. The theme song, ถ้าปลายทางคือเธอ (If the destination is you), is performed by the band MEAN.

A remake that keeps one face from the original

Make It Right first aired in 2016 and 2017, and the 2026 version arrives ten years later with a new cast. Most of the production is renewed, yet Boom Krittapak, who appeared in the original series, returns in a guest role, which gives the new version a direct link to the old one. The remake keeps the title and the source novel, so the connection to the first series is deliberate and visible.

An ensemble by design

The new version is cast as thirteen actors for thirteen characters. Its source is the web novel Make It Right by Nakhian Badboyz. The story covers friendship, personal growth and many different relationships at once, and an ensemble suits that, because the weight is spread across the group and the series can move between storylines from one week to the next.

Two release windows

The series has a split schedule. The uncut version arrives first on Viu on Fridays at 8:00 PM, and the same episode reaches Channel 9 MCOT HD on Saturdays at 10:30 PM. Viewers can therefore choose between seeing an episode a day early without cuts or watching it on broadcast television. The same twelve episodes appear in both windows, so no viewer misses any part of the story. The twelve episodes run from 17 July 2026, with the last one scheduled for 2 October 2026, and at about 54 minutes each the full run comes to roughly eleven hours.

The production timeline

Filming began on 10 May 2026, and the official trailer was published on 3 July 2026, two weeks before the first episode. Copy A Bangkok produces, Cheewin Thanamin Wongskulphat directs, and Kwang Latika Chumpoo wrote the screenplay. The band MEAN performs the theme song, ถ้าปลายทางคือเธอ, and the character list names seven actors plus one guest.

Themes

The series is described as a story about friendship, personal growth and many different relationships at once, which is why it is built as an ensemble with several storylines running together.

A remake after ten years adds a second theme, which is continuity. The 2026 version keeps the title, the source novel and one returning face from the original, while giving the leading roles to a new generation. Viewers who know the 2016 series meet familiar names in new circumstances, and newcomers can follow it as a story in its own right. The weekly format lets the many storylines develop at a measured pace across twelve episodes.

Interesting facts

  • The 2016 series introduced the character Fuse, and the role was played in that version by Peak Peemapol Panichtamrong.
  • The uncut version of each episode is released first on Viu, ahead of the Channel 9 MCOT HD broadcast the next day.
  • A soundtrack song performed by Peak Peemapol with Prommy, Boongkee and Peem has an official music video on the Copy A Bangkok channel.
  • The series adapts the web novel Make It Right by Nakhian Badboyz.
