Sugar Games

Sugar Games is a Filipino boys' love limited series from Oxin Films, released weekly on the Oxin Films YouTube channel. It has six episodes of about thirty minutes each, with the world premiere on 8 August 2026 and the finale on 12 September 2026. The official trailer premiered on 13 June 2026, and an exclusive watch party was held before the premiere.

The story follows Kyle and Jerry, fierce rivals on the community basketball scene. Episode 1 opens with a heated match between the two team captains, and a hard foul on the court changes what happens between them afterward. When financial desperation forces both players to share the same wealthy benefactor, their open hostility takes a turn. They are made to live under one roof, and the line between rivalry and romance blurs as they secretly fall for each other.

Their powerful sponsor eventually discovers the secret. From that point the two have to risk everything, including their basketball dreams, to fight for their freedom and for their relationship. The tagline puts it as two bitter basketball rivals, one wealthy sugar daddy and a dangerous game of love, dominance and survival.

The basketball setting runs through the whole series. By episode 5 the Semi-Finals have ended and the Championship is approaching, and the finale centres on the Championship game. Every episode title also borrows a basketball term: Hard Foul, Crossing Lines, Full Contact, Catch It, Loose Ball and Take the Hit.

Jake Ulan plays Kyle and Angelo Chris De Lara plays Jerry. Oxin Films produced the series and released it as a free web series rather than on a broadcast channel.
