SYNOPSIS

ChermChey (เฉิ่มเชย; RTGS: Choem Choei) is a 2026 Thai BL romantic comedy-drama from Copy A Bangkok in partnership with Domundi TV, directed by Cheewin Thanamin Wongskulphat of Bed Friend and adapted from Nottakorn's hit web novel (more than a million reads online). The ten-episode series premiered on May 19, 2026 on TrueVisions Now, airing Tuesdays, with international streaming on GagaOOLala.

It reunites the beloved TutorYim pairing, with Yim Prarinyakorn Kansawa as Akkhara (nicknamed "Oeng"), a young man left heartbroken after a betrayal costs him both his relationship and the business he built, and Tutor Koraphat Lamnoi as Intha, a rugged, confident and warm-hearted bar owner who trusts his gut completely.

Scarred by repeated heartbreak, Akkhara makes a wish at a temple to try love one last time, and almost the instant he opens his eyes he crosses paths with Intha. Intha pursues him openly and shamelessly, but the wary Akkhara cannot bring himself to let anyone in again. As the two end up working and living together around the ChermChey bar, late-night drinks, everyday care and small kindnesses slowly thaw old wounds, turning two strangers into the person each most wants to protect.

Around the leads, the series gathers a lively Domundi ensemble, with Mac Phasakorn Ratnaliam as Bomb, Fay Chintub Duangkaew as A-Ten, Paper Peerada Namwong as Nok, Keng Harit Buayoi as Ajahn, Jimmy Karn Kritsanaphan as Aiyaret, Ohm Thanakrit Chiamchunya as Chen Nai, Max Kornthas Rujeerattanavorapan as Lalit, Nat Natasit Uareksit as Nine, Auau Thanaphum Sestasittikul as Tonhon, Save Worapong Walor as Chonlathi, Mark Sorntast Buangam as Araya, and Leon Krittapod Bunyamanee as Issara. Warm, flirty and unhurried, ChermChey is a healing romance about second chances and the quiet courage it takes to love again.

EDITOR’S VERDICT

6/10

ChermChey leans on two strong assets: the well-established TutorYim chemistry and a source novel popular enough to draw a built-in audience. It trades high-concept hooks for a warmer, healing-after-heartbreak romance.

The Pairing

Yim plays the bruised, guarded Akkhara and Tutor the confident bar owner Intha who refuses to give up on him. After years together on screen (Cutie Pie, The Middleman's Love, Bed Friend), the duo's ease is the show's biggest draw.

What to Expect

  • Healing rom-com: heartbreak, second chances and slow-built comfort over melodrama.
  • Director pedigree: Cheewin Thanamin also directed Bed Friend.
  • Cozy tone: the ChermChey bar setting anchors a relaxed, character-driven romance.

The Verdict

A comfortable, well-cast healing BL; ChermChey should especially please existing TutorYim fans and viewers who like their romance gentle and grounded.

Editorial draft score: 7.0/10
