Jung Jae-bin
BIOGRAPHY
Jung Jae-bin (Korean: 정재빈, also romanised Jeong Jae-bin; born 5 February 1992) is a South Korean actor with seven credits on record, five of them queer romance, spread across four years of short-form Korean production.
His earliest recorded appearance is Min Jun in the 2022 film Three of Us (셋), in which a film student, a designer and a developer all fall for one another. It is a girls’ love title, and it makes him one of very few actors on this site with credits in both GL and BL. In December 2022 he played Lee Yu-seong in the body-swap comedy BReal Bro&Sis (B현실 남매).
From 2024 the work is almost entirely boys’ love. He played Han U-jin across seven episodes of My Damn Business (마이 댐 비즈니스, 2024), a GND Studio series carried on YouTube and Heavenly about the last two members of a collapsing sales team; the series also exists in a feature version. In 2025 came Lee Hyeon-uk in Wrong Number (잘못 울린 전화), a four-part series from SUKFILM, and Kim Jun-ho in The Golden Promise (골든 프로미스) for iQIYI International and Shortime, in which a business trip to Thailand throws two men together.
In 2026 he plays Seo Young-woo in Backdoor (백도어), a boys’ love series produced by SUKFILM and released on YouTube from 31 May 2026. An anonymous stranger pulls Do-yoon out of a career-ending crisis; when the stranger turns out to be Ji-hyeok, the privileged newcomer he most resents, an awkward office romance starts. Jang In-kyu plays Kwon Do-yoon and Gu Do-hyung plays Seo Ji-hyuk.
BLGLFlix editorial view
Seven credits, not the single 2026 web drama his name usually turns up attached to. The shape of the seven tells you something a single credit could not: this is a working Korean short-form actor with a four-year run behind him.
He has credits in both girls’ love and boys’ love, which is rare. Three of Us (2022) is a polyamorous story tagged girls’ love; everything from 2024 onward is BL. Actors in the Korean queer short-form sector are usually sorted into one lane and stay there, and the crossover is worth recording.
SUKFILM twice. Wrong Number in 2025 and Backdoor in 2026 are both SUKFILM productions. That repeat is the whole visible mechanism of a career in this part of the industry: no agency announcement, no casting news, just a small production company that calls the same actor back. The same pattern shows up elsewhere in this database on Korean profiles tied to Flying Penguin and on Filipino ones tied to Oxin Films. It is how the short-form sector actually works, and it is invisible unless you read a filmography properly.
Two things checked here and recorded rather than smoothed over. First, the identity trap: several different people share the name 정재빈, including a footballer, a comedian and a violinist. Everything on this page is pinned to a single database person record verified through the Backdoor character credit, and a Korean-language reference entry independently matched both the birth year and that same credit. A separate acting profile found on a Korean industry site could not be matched to this person, because it carries no Backdoor credit, and was therefore not used at all. Second, an episode count discrepancy: his Backdoor credit is recorded against twelve episodes while the series record itself lists five. That has not been reconciled, and guessing which figure is right would be worse than saying so.
