Jung Jae-bin
BIOGRAPHY
Jung Jae-bin (Korean: 정재빈, also romanised Jeong Jae-bin; born 5 February 1992) is a South Korean actor who has worked in Korean short-form production since 2022 and holds seven credits.
He debuted as Min Jun in the 2022 film Three of Us (셋), in which a film student, a designer and a developer all fall for one another. It is a girls’ love title. In December 2022 he played Lee Yu-seong in the body-swap comedy BReal Bro&Sis (B현실 남매).
From 2024 the work is boys’ love. He played Han U-jin across seven episodes of My Damn Business (마이 댐 비즈니스, 2024), a GND Studio series carried on YouTube and Heavenly about the last two members of a collapsing sales team; the story also exists as a feature film. In 2025 came Lee Hyeon-uk in Wrong Number (잘못 울린 전화), a four-part series from SUKFILM, and Kim Jun-ho in The Golden Promise (골든 프로미스) for iQIYI International and Shortime, in which a business trip to Thailand throws two men together.
In 2026 he plays Seo Young-woo in Backdoor (백도어), a boys’ love series produced by SUKFILM and released on YouTube from 31 May 2026. An anonymous stranger pulls Do-yoon out of a career-ending crisis; when the stranger turns out to be Ji-hyuk, the privileged newcomer he most resents, an awkward office romance starts. Jang In-kyu plays Kwon Do-yoon and Gu Do-hyung plays Seo Ji-hyuk.
A girls’ love film in 2022, then nothing but boys’ love series from 2024 onward.
The 2022 film Three of Us carries a girls’ love tag, while My Damn Business, Wrong Number, The Golden Promise and Backdoor are all boys’ love. The body-swap comedy BReal Bro&Sis sits between the two phases.
SUKFILM produced Wrong Number in 2025 and Backdoor in 2026, so the same company cast him twice within a year. The name 정재빈 is shared by a footballer, a comedian and a violinist, which makes a character credit such as Seo Young-woo the surest way to tell this actor apart.
The four boys’ love releases arrive at steadily closer intervals. My Damn Business came in October 2024, Wrong Number in June 2025, The Golden Promise in December 2025 and Backdoor in May 2026, so the waits between them run from about eight months to six and then to five and a half. Each one sits on a different distribution route: YouTube with Heavenly, a SUKFILM series, iQIYI International with Shortime, and YouTube again. The episode counts on his credits, seven, four and two, show how small and varied the formats are, and one of them, My Damn Business, also exists as a feature film on which he is credited. His four boys’ love roles, Han U-jin, Lee Hyeon-uk, Kim Jun-ho and Seo Young-woo, are each a different character with a different company context, which is why the list reads as a run of separate engagements and not a single ongoing franchise.
In my view the detail to hold on to is the turn in 2024. Before it, a film and a comedy sit at opposite ends of the range, and after it every credit is a short-form series with a named company behind it. For a first watch I would choose Backdoor, where Seo Young-woo is his current role, and then go back to the seven episode run of My Damn Business.
