BIOGRAPHY
Satjakorn Chalard (Thai: ศัจกร ฉลาด; born February 19, 1998), known by the nickname Pearl, is a Thai actor signed to One31. He plays Scent, a cold, emotionally guarded heir to a failing perfume company, in Flower Boy (2026), reuniting with Peemapol “Peak” Panichtamrong after their pairing in Love in the Moonlight (2025).
Acting was not his first path. Before it, he competed as a tennis athlete, and he went on to graduate from the College of Science and Sports Technology at Mahidol University.
One31 introduced him as a new talent, and among his early television parts is Maggie in a supporting role in Don’t Sleep My Hero on True4U. He went on to appear in When the Sky Falls as Insee and in Revenge from the Past as Pong, and across 2022 and 2023 he made guest appearances as Sand in the One31 series Pen Tor. In 2023 he played Thee Methee in Laws of Attraction, a role that brought him wider attention.
In 2024 he joined the historical drama Bangkok Blossom as Nat, a supporting role.
His first lead came in 2025 with Love in the Moonlight, where he played Sasin in a boys’ love period story distributed internationally by GagaOOLala. He carried the pairing with Peak into Flower Boy a year later. The premise of Flower Boy has a perfume company heir searching for a rare tribe said to produce hypnotic pheromones in order to save his family’s business, and Scent brings one of its members, Kaysorn, back to the city without knowing that the scent’s strength depends on love. The series premiered on One31 on April 25, 2026 and finished on June 13.
Satjakorn Chalard went from competitive tennis to television, and reached his first lead role in Love in the Moonlight in 2025 after years of supporting parts.
What stayed with me is how patiently his career has been built. He spent years in supporting roles and guest spots before a lead, and once the lead came the same pairing was carried across two very different stories, a period romance and a fantasy. That continuity gives the second series a shared history that the first one built.
In my view the simplest way in is to watch Laws of Attraction for the early work, then Love in the Moonlight for Sasin, and finish with Flower Boy, where Scent starts out cold and the performance depends on how slowly that changes. If you like his work, it is worth watching the two series with Peak back to back.
The episode counts show how his parts have grown. Laws of Attraction and Bangkok Blossom each ran eight episodes, while When the Sky Falls ran thirteen and Revenge from the Past twelve. Love in the Moonlight gave him twelve episodes as Sasin, and Flower Boy gave him eight as Scent, whose full name is Phummarak Sukontawanich. In 2025 he also appeared as Way in the series Riak Chan Than Prathan. Alongside drama he has taken part in variety and talk shows. In my view an actor who still counts tennis among his skills carries a competitor’s patience into each of these credits, and that suits a career built one supporting part at a time.
