Mr. Cinderella 2

Mr. Cinderella 2 opens on a couple who are already married. O2 Production released the eight-episode second season on YouTube between 23 September and 11 November 2023, roughly two years after the first, with Ho Si Hau directing — a credit the original does not carry in any source this catalogue could verify.

Truong Minh Thao returns as Khoa, now described as a surgical doctor, and Nguyen Ba Vinh returns as Dung, who has left the street behind and works as a barista. That change of occupation is the sequel's opening move. The gang member who was the first season's problem no longer exists, and with him goes the machinery that drove the original, so settled domestic life becomes the starting position rather than the reward.

The pressure arrives from inside the family. Khoa's estranged brother Thanh, played by Mai Vu Luan, comes back wanting a share of the family property and carrying a grudge about an old accident that ended his music career. Kan Vu appears as Khang, a young surgical doctor, and Nguyen Tuan Viet as Tuan, who owns a coffee shop. Episodes run between twenty-five and forty minutes, a slightly wider spread than the first season's thirty to forty.

Distribution stayed exactly where it had been. The season went up free on O2 Production's own channel, episode by episode, with no broadcaster and no licensing partner behind it; unlike its predecessor it does not appear in anything consulted here as having reached GagaOOLala or any other subscription service. For a studio working at this scale the second season is the harder one to make, because a first can run on enthusiasm and a second has to run on whatever the first returned. It also appears to be the end of the story: nothing consulted points to a third instalment, and O2 Production's later work has gone to other titles.
