What happens

Sending The Wounds (Vietnamese: Gửi Tổn Thương Vào Gió, literally "Sending Wounds Into The Wind") is a Vietnamese-Thai co-produced BL web drama released directly on YouTube by PDID Film, a Vietnam-based independent channel that calls itself a "multi-genre short film channel." It is also known as Sending My Pain to the Wind.

The series premiered on 8 June 2026 with its first English-subtitled episode and finished its five-episode run on 5 July 2026, with further episodes on 14 June, 21 June and 28 June. Tống Giang Sang wrote and directed the original script for PDID Film. The project is billed on YouTube under the banner "Boy Love Việt Thái", and its languages are Vietnamese and Thai.

The five episodes run between about 19 and 28 minutes, averaging 22, and every installment was uploaded with English subtitles. The channel gathered them into a single official playlist, so the run can be watched in order in about one hour and fifty minutes. The fifth episode closed the season, which makes it a single-season story.

The title frames the story around releasing pain rather than holding onto it. The series is filed as a drama with romance, youth, healing, slice-of-life and coming-of-age elements, told in short-form episodes closer to short films than to broadcast drama.

Sending The Wounds is a Vietnamese-Thai BL web drama that PDID Film released straight to YouTube over four weeks in summer 2026, and its title carries an observation of its own. In Vietnamese, gửi is the verb for posting a letter or handing over a parcel: an act with an address and a recipient. Gửi Tổn Thương Vào Gió aims that verb at the wind. The grammar of delivery stays and the destination disappears, so the title describes something that can only travel in one direction.

What the title asks of the story

That reading makes the title a more demanding promise than a phrase about healing. Nothing sent to the wind comes back. Whatever is released is gone rather than settled, and the person doing the sending has to accept an absence instead of an answer, which is a different emotional task from being forgiven or understood. The series is filed as healing and coming-of-age drama with romance, and the title sets the terms for anyone pressing play.

Shape of the release

Five episodes came out weekly from 8 June to 5 July 2026, with a six-day gap between the first two, and each runs between about 19 and 28 minutes. Together they total roughly one hour and fifty minutes, spread across a month. Tống Giang Sang wrote and directed the original script, so one person covers both the page and the camera for the whole run. English subtitles are on every episode from the first upload, and the full set sits in one official playlist.

Where it fits

PDID Film calls its channel a multi-genre short film channel, and this series arrives under the banner Boy Love Việt Thái as a joint effort between the two countries' BL scenes. A short, self-contained YouTube series can be finished in one evening or followed across a month as it was first released, and both routes are open here.

Final Score: 6.5/10

Themes

The credited languages are Vietnamese and Thai, and the series carries the banner Boy Love Việt Thái. A story told across two tongues already has to carry meaning over a gap to reach anybody, and English subtitles on every episode add a further step for viewers outside both languages. For a work named after something released without a guaranteed arrival, that is a fitting way to receive it.
