Fourever You Specials (Johan & North)

Special Episode JohanNorth: The Glowing of Love is a two-episode standalone special built entirely around one couple. Johan (Maxky Ratchata Pichetshote) and North (Bas Hatsanat Piniwat) return from the original Fourever You, where they went from sparring rivals to partners, and the special picks them up long after that question was settled. The pairing fans know as MaxkyBas is now living together, and what these two episodes care about is the far less glamorous part that comes next: what a relationship actually costs to keep once the thrill of winning it has worn off. There is no new courtship here and no rival waiting in the wings, only two people and the ordinary friction of sharing a life.

The first episode lets the strain of daily life come to a head. Johan keeps skipping meals and letting work eat the hours he promised North, and North's patience, stretched thin over months of the same small habit, finally snaps. A domestic nothing turns into real hurt between two people who otherwise know each other better than anyone else does. The second episode sets about softening that rift. Distance and a stretch of time apart send Johan hurrying back to make things right, and a birthday trip becomes the test of whether attention paid late and an apology meant honestly can repair what the first episode broke open. No new character arrives to complicate matters and no outside obstacle is invented; the conflict is entirely one the couple built themselves, which is exactly what gives the attempt at repair its weight.

Produced inside the same Studio Wabi Sabi pipeline as the main series, the special runs two episodes of roughly fifty-two minutes each and streams on WeTV, with both parts also posted free on Studio Wabi Sabi's official YouTube channel. The screenplay comes from Howlsairy, the novelist behind the source book North: How Much Is Your Love?, adapted from an extra side story attached to that novel, which is why the domestic texture reads as drawn from the page rather than improvised for the screen. It arrived on 25 May 2025, roughly four months after the first season's finale and well ahead of Fourever You Part 2, a deliberate coda for fans during the hiatus between them. Warm, low-stakes and PG throughout, it is best watched after the original series, where the history it quietly leans on was built.
