What happens

Lately, It's Winter Season is the third and final arc of Fourever You Part 2, and it closes the Thai boys love anthology on its slowest burning ache: a friendship that has quietly carried six years of unspoken love. Tiger (Pie Saranvut Nittayasuthi), known in Thai as Suea or Ger, is the youngest son of a powerful crime family and has spent his life trying to outrun the shadow his name casts. For six years he has been in love with his best friend Dueannao (Golf Pasatorn Lertsathitwong), called Nao by everyone, and for six years fear of rejection and the danger trailing his family have kept the words locked inside. When the two cross paths again at university football club captain tryouts, their easy rivalry hides everything Tiger cannot bring himself to admit.

Everything shifts when Tiger has no choice but to flee his own home and takes refuge with Nao's warm, ordinary family, all while hiding the truth about his father. The secret grows heavier by the week. Tiger eventually confesses his roots to Nao, survives a violent brawl during a football match that nearly costs him his place on the team, and slowly lets his friends in on what he has buried, among them Dannue (Nanthawat Phaiboonphattana) and Field (Kade Tanapon Hathaidachadusadee). Faced with the real possibility of losing Nao for good, Tiger even agrees to leave for Hong Kong, hoping to come back as someone worthy of standing beside and protecting the person he loves.

Directed by Natthanon Kheeddee, known as Meen, under executive producer Siwaj Sawatmaneekul for Studio Wabi Sabi, the eight-episode arc trades the supernatural mood of the story before it for something grounded and tender, built on loyalty, family secrets and the courage to speak. It adapts Howlsairy's novel of the same name, the only book in the set without a compass-point title. Episodes aired on Thursdays at 20:30 from 14 May to 2 July 2026, with the extended streaming edition on WeTV alongside the GMM 25 broadcast and free episodes on Studio Wabi Sabi's YouTube channel. The pairing is known as PieGolf.

Adapts the web novel Lately, It's Winter Season by Howlvy, who publishes under the account name Howlvy on Dek-D and under the byline Howlsairy on printed editions. This is the third and final arc of Fourever You Part 2. Unlike the other four novels in the author's set, this one carries no compass-point title, so the franchise is not a clean four-directions structure. Episodes are numbered 17 to 24 rather than 1 to 8, because Part 2 numbers its episodes continuously across all three arcs.

7/10

Lately, It's Winter Season closes Fourever You Part 2 with its warmest, most longing-driven story, a friends-to-lovers arc anchored by a lonely heir and the classmate who gets under his guard.

The Couple

Pie Saranvut’s closed-off Tiger and Golf Pasatorn’s Dueannao build from rivalry on the football field to a tender bond, leaning on slow-burn yearning more than dramatic conflict.

Six years of buried feelings give their every scene an undercurrent of restraint, and the crime-family subplot raises the stakes without tipping the arc into melodrama.

What to Expect

  • Friends to lovers: a clash that softens into closeness.
  • Held-back longing: feelings kept in check for too long.
  • Season finale arc: the closing chapter of Part 2.

The Verdict

A warm, yearning send-off; Lately, It's Winter Season is a satisfying friends-to-lovers finale for the Fourever You project.

Final Score: 7/10

The closing arc spreads eight episodes over eight Thursdays of broadcast.

Eight episodes of roughly 57 minutes aired from 14 May to 2 July 2026, about 7.6 hours in all. With this block the whole of Part 2 spans 194 days from 20 December 2025.

Every individual commitment stays small, because no single block runs longer than seven weeks. A viewer could follow one arc, stop, and return months later without losing the thread. Each block carries its own couple and its own source novel, so the arcs stand alone.

This one adapts Howlsairy's novel Lately, It's Winter Season. Studio Wabi Sabi gave each of the three the same eight-episode length. The season as a whole is Fourever You Part 2, and the arc before this one is The Sun from Another Star.

One of them has money and the other does not, and the one who does is the son of a crime family.

He is pulled into that world, and his friend goes along without asking questions, which is its own kind of loyalty. The two start out knocking against each other and something grows out of the friction. The son of the family falls first and falls hard. The other does not read it that way at all. He has him filed as his closest friend and nothing more.

Then he says it out loud, and the other boy needs time to take it in. The best stretch of the arc is the one where he goes back over everything and works out that the feeling was already there. It ends well, and it earns the ending.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the title actually referring to?

It works as small talk. Remarking on the weather is what people reach for when they mean to say nothing, which suits a story about six years of silence. The themes section follows the idea further.

Where does this block sit in the season?

It closes Fourever You Part 2 as the third and final arc, and its episodes are numbered 17 to 24 rather than 1 to 8, because the season numbers continuously across all three blocks rather than restarting for each.

Why does this novel break the franchise's pattern?

Because it carries no compass point. Unlike the other four books in Howlvy's set, Lately, It's Winter Season is not East, North, South or West.

Who plays Tiger and Dueannao?

Pie Saranvut Nittayasuthi plays Tiger and Golf Pasatorn Lertsathitwong plays Dueannao, the pairing known as PieGolf. Kade Tanapon Hathaidachadusadee appears as Field, alongside returning cast from the earlier arcs in supporting roles.

What genres does this arc bring in?

Alongside romance and youth drama it is tagged sports and crime, which the other two arcs do not carry, so a friends-to-lovers story takes in material the earlier arcs did not touch.

When did the eight episodes air?

Thursdays at 20:30 from 14 May to 2 July 2026, at about 57 minutes each. That closes the twenty-four-episode season just over six months after it opened in December 2025.

What does ไทเกอร์เดือนหนาว say?

Romanised as Tiger Duean Nao, it combines the leads' names with a pun on the cold months, and the Thai titles of the other two arcs likewise pair their leads' names.

How can this arc be found on its own?

Studio Wabi Sabi keeps a dedicated YouTube playlist for it, alongside the GMM25 broadcast and WeTV. Natthanon Kheeddee directed, and it is rated 13+.
