What happens

Special Episode JohanNorth: The Glowing of Love is a two-episode special from Studio Wabi Sabi that continues the story of Johan (Maxky Ratchata Pichetshote) and North (Bas Hatsanat Piniwat) from the original Fourever You. Natthanon Kheeddee directed it. Both episodes premiered on 25 May 2025, run about fifty-two minutes each and stream on WeTV, with both parts also posted on Studio Wabi Sabi's official YouTube channel. The special keeps its cast to the two leads, so the whole running time belongs to the couple.

Fourever You aired seventeen episodes on GMM25 and WeTV from 3 October 2024 to 16 January 2025, and its Johan and North storyline draws on Howlsairy's novel North: How Much Is Your Love? In the original series their bond grew out of sparring over an old debt. The special picks the couple up after that story, showing their domestic life now that they live together, and the tone stays playful, with comedy and a little self-aware humour. The pairing is known as MaxkyBas.

The special is rated PG. It lands between the two seasons: Part 1's broadcast ended in January 2025, the special arrived that May, and a second season, Fourever You Part 2, followed in December 2025, with Johan and North appearing in it as recurring characters. Natthanon Kheeddee went on to direct Part 2, so the special also works as a bridge between the two seasons.

You know that feeling when a series ends and you are not ready to let the couple go? Studio Wabi Sabi clearly knows it too, because Special Episode JohanNorth: The Glowing of Love exists for exactly that ache. No villain, no new mystery, no fresh obstacle course. Just Johan and North, after the story, living together.

From Arguing Over a Debt to Sharing a Home

Quick recap for the forgetful: in Fourever You, Johan (Maxky Ratchata Pichetshote) and North (Bas Hatsanat Piniwat) got together after a lot of sparring over an old debt, in a storyline drawn from Howlsairy's novel North: How Much Is Your Love? This special picks them up once all that is settled and simply lets you hang out in their home life. If "established couple being domestic" is your favourite flavour of fanfic, this is the canon version.

Two Leads, Zero Distractions

The cast is just the two of them. No side plots, no busy ensemble, every minute goes to the couple. The genre mix is comedy, slice of life and feel-good romance, with a little self-aware, meta humour sprinkled in, so the mood is playful and cosy. It is rated PG, which makes it an easy, wholesome watch to put on with a friend who also misses the pair. The MaxkyBas name gets a real workout here, and if you are a shipper first and a plot person second, you will be very happy.

Small sweet detail: the special's original soundtrack single, จนตลอดกาล, came out on 24 May 2025, and it is performed by Maxky Ratchata with Bas Hatsanat featured. So the two actors carrying the special also sing its only song.

The Little Bridge Between Seasons

Timing is the fun part. Fourever You aired seventeen episodes on GMM25 and WeTV from 3 October 2024 to 16 January 2025. This special landed on 25 May 2025, with both episodes released the same day. Then Fourever You Part 2 arrived in December 2025, with Johan and North back as recurring characters. Natthanon Kheeddee directed the special and went on to direct Part 2, so it works neatly as a bridge.

How to Fit It In

Two episodes of about 52 minutes, streaming on WeTV, and both are also on Studio Wabi Sabi's official YouTube channel, which makes it very easy to find. My tip: watch it after the original Fourever You and before Part 2. Going in cold works, but you will enjoy it ten times more if you already know why these two bickered about money in the first place.

Final Score: 7.5/10
