Ryu Phudtripart Bhudthonamochai, born 15 August 2000, took a lead as Mark in Jump in 2022 and joined GMMTV in 2024. In 2026 he appears in A Dog and a Plane and You Maniac.

Large Thai studios usually build their own. They run training programmes and talent searches, sign people before anybody has heard of them, and take the whole of whatever audience follows. Buying in somebody who arrived with a following already attached is the other model, and it is a different transaction: the company is paying for something it did not create and cannot fully control.

For the performer it changes the balance. An actor who was known before the contract has an audience that predates the company and would survive leaving it, which is a materially stronger position than the one most people on this site occupy.
