Fix the Error!

Fix the Error! (Korean: 오류를 고쳐줘!; RR: Oryureul Gochyeojwo) is a 2026 South Korean boys' love fantasy-romance told in six short-form episodes, and its hero is not especially good at his job. Kang Ji-han (Kan Hyeon-bae) has failed the grim reaper exam eight times over. His senior hands him one final chance, five days in the human world, one soul to collect, and Ji-han descends with a death ledger and every intention of finally getting something right. Then he collides with a stranger on the street, coffee goes across the page, and the single name he was sent to find is left smudged past reading.

What the damaged record yields now is two names where there should be one, and two living men who both appear to answer to it: Lee Hyun-jun (Lee Hyun-jun) and Kim Young-hee (Kim Yung-hee). A routine assignment turns into impossible arithmetic, one death is owed, two candidates are listed, and the five-day clock is indifferent to which. Worse for Ji-han, proximity becomes attachment, and the underworld's oldest rule is that a reaper feels nothing for the living. Kang-hyun (Jung Jung-hwan) and Kim Jae-hyun (Kwak Geon-hee) round out the human side of the story, standing close enough to both candidates to raise the price of whatever Ji-han finally decides.

Written and directed by Yoo Jung-hyeok for Fangle Studio, the series released two episodes a week between June 12 and June 26, 2026, running roughly six to eleven minutes per installment, so the complete season fits inside a single hour. It streamed on Shortime in Korea and internationally on GagaOOLala with English subtitles from launch, and it is an original screenplay rather than a webtoon or novel adaptation. The register stays comic about the afterlife's paperwork and entirely sincere about everything underneath it: fate rendered as a clerical system, second chances treated as a rationed resource, and one spilled cup of coffee that may have been the only route to something worth keeping. In well under an hour, Fix the Error! keeps pressing the same question, whether a mistake is still a mistake when it is the only way the story could have arrived where it did.
