BIOGRAPHY
littlebbear96 (Thai: ลิตเติลแบร์96) is the pen name of a Thai web novelist who writes Boys’ Love fiction. Four Domundi TV series are adapted from these novels: Bed Friend (2023), The Middleman’s Love (2023), Love Upon a Time (2026) and Mr. Fanboy (2026).
Love Upon a Time adapts ภพเธอ (RTGS: Phop Thoe), published by DEEP, an imprint of Satapornbooks, on November 1, 2021. The novel runs 617 pages and roughly 195,000 words. A modern man falls asleep and wakes some four centuries earlier in the Ayutthaya period, is mistaken for a missing nobleman’s son, and has to work out how to get home and what became of the man he is impersonating. A special supplementary volume, Love Upon a Time ภพเธอ เล่มพิเศษ, followed, and an official English edition was released through meb’s translation team.
The earlier adaptation source is อย่าเล่นกับอนล (Bed Friend), in print by 2021. พี่เจตคนกลาง (The Middleman’s Love) reached screen in the same year as Bed Friend, and รักสุดใจนายแฟนบอย (Mr. Fanboy) was announced as part of the iQIYI iJOY TH 2026 lineup.
Bed Friend follows two coworkers with opposite temperaments, Uea and King, who share a best friend named Jade. The Middleman’s Love takes that friend as its lead: Jade is a graphic designer and the middle child of his family, overlooked beside better-looking siblings and friends, and when an intern named Mai joins his office he assumes her interest is in Uea.
On screen, Love Upon a Time ran for twelve episodes on Workpoint TV from March 27 to June 12, 2026. May Piangpaitoon Satrawaha and Porndee Satrawaha wrote the screenplay, and Den Panuwat Inthawat directed.
Her output is larger than the adapted portion: around 29 titles with some 3,300 reader ratings at an average of 4.15, and 25 or more works serialised on ReadAWrite, mostly Boys’ Love and Omegaverse, with Mpreg and Hybridverse titles as well as fantasy and supernatural romance. Books are distributed through meb, ReadAWrite, Dek-D, naiin and Hytexts, and several have been licensed into Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese.
Four Domundi TV series come from one author, and they arrive in two pairs three years apart.
Bed Friend and The Middleman’s Love both aired in 2023. Love Upon a Time and Mr. Fanboy followed in 2026.
The Love Upon a Time novel was in print on November 1, 2021, more than four years before the series.
In my view the clearest thread through these adaptations is Jade, who sits beside the leads in Bed Friend and then carries The Middleman’s Love himself. Anyone who wants to see that hand-off at work should watch Bed Friend first and The Middleman’s Love second.
