BIOGRAPHY

Neen Suwanamas (born 23 November 1996 in Bangkok) is a Thai actor signed to GMMTV. She has worked in television since 2015 and has eleven credits, seven of them boys’ love or girls’ love series.

She came up through the TARO MC Contest and made her screen debut in seven episodes of the 2015 anthology Ugly Duckling as Alice. Her run through the genre started the following year: May in SOTUS (2016, fifteen episodes) and its sequel SOTUS S (2017 to 2018, thirteen episodes), twenty-eight episodes in all, Emma in ten episodes of My Dear Loser (2017), May again in Our Skyy (2018), Lin in all twelve episodes of Theory of Love (2019), Beau in all twelve of My Gear And Your Gown (2020) and Im-Em in all twelve of Baker Boys (2021).

SOTUS was made by GMMTV with Felloww from Bittersweet’s novel, directed by Lit Samajarn, and first went out on One31 and LINE TV on 20 August 2016 with Krist Perawat and Singto Prachaya as its leads. The story about an engineering faculty’s hazing system and the clash between a head senior and a defiant first year carried on into SOTUS S, which premiered on 9 December 2017, and May travelled with it. Our Skyy followed as an anthology that gave earlier boys’ love couples a closing chapter, and May returned there in a supporting part.

Theory of Love, directed by Nuttapong Mongkolsawas, aired on GMM 25 and LINE TV from 1 June to 17 August 2019 and follows Third, who has loved his friend Khai for three years and decides to move on just as Khai realises he feels the same. My Gear And Your Gown, directed by Siwaj Sawatmaneekul and produced with Studio Wabi Sabi, premiered on WeTV on 14 September 2020 and ended on 30 November 2020, with GMM 25 reruns from 9 January 2021. Baker Boys, directed by Pannares Ruchiranantal, ran on GMM 25 and AIS Play from 24 November to 30 December 2021 around a group of bakers and a café owner.

Outside the genre she played Jang in Good Old Days (2022), Sandy across all sixteen episodes of Find Yourself (2023) and Cake-som across all sixteen of Ploy’s Yearbook (2024). That last series, a Snap25 and GMMTV production for GMM25 and Viu between 8 April and 28 May 2024, gathers five girls who share the name Ploy in one classroom and lets a mix-up of phone numbers in their yearbook set the plot moving.

In 2024 she moved from boys’ love to girls’ love, playing Ploy in all twelve episodes of Pluto, the GMMTV series that ran on GMM 25 between 19 October 2024 and 4 January 2025. Her part there is a supporting one.

She attended Chitralada School and graduated in architecture from Chulalongkorn University in 2020, taking the degree while working steadily on screen.

Neen Suwanamas played May in both SOTUS and its 2018 spin-off Our Skyy.

Her genre credits run from SOTUS in 2016 to Pluto in 2024. Six of them are boys’ love series broadcast between 2016 and 2021, and Pluto is her first girls’ love series.

Her list has no empty year across its first decade, since at least one credit sits in every year from 2015 to 2024. The nine credits whose episode counts are given add up to 125 episodes. The genre change arrives at the end of the decade, eight years after her first boys’ love role, and it comes in a supporting part, so her move into girls’ love is a step sideways in category more than a step up in billing.

In my view, the most interesting thread in her work is May, because one character carries from a 2016 campus series into a 2018 closing chapter and gives her the longest single role on her list. For a first look I would start with Theory of Love, where she is on screen for all twelve episodes, and then go back to SOTUS to see where May begins.
