Sarocha Chankimha

Sarocha Chankimha (Thai: สโรชา จันทร์กิมฮะ; born August 8, 1998), known by the nickname Freen, is a Thai actor, model and singer born in Bangkok. She is best known for playing Sam, a guarded young company chairwoman, in GAP (2022), and Khunying Pin in the period drama The Loyal Pin (2024), both opposite Becky Armstrong. The pairing carries the fan name “FreenBecky.”

She graduated from La Salle School Bangkok and then took a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication, with First Class Honours, at the College of Communication Arts of Rangsit University. In 2020 she signed with Idol Factory.

Her screen debut was the romantic comedy So Fit in 2021, where she played Bing. In February 2022 she appeared as Khongkwan in Secret Crush on You on Channel 3, and later that year she took the lead in GAP on Channel 7 as M.L. Samanan, known as Sam, which started her on-screen partnership with Becky. The series passed 900 million views on YouTube. A guest role in The Sign followed in 2023.

The year 2024 was her busiest. The science fiction film Uranus 2324, released on July 4 and billed as the first Thai girls’ love science fiction film, gave her the role of Lin. On August 4 The Loyal Pin began on Workpoint TV, set in the 1950s, with Freen as Lady Pilanthita, called Pin. She has described the eight months of filming as the most demanding project of her career. In December the horror-comedy film Rider opened, in which she plays Pie opposite Mario Maurer.

Fashion opened a second track alongside acting. In May 2024 she was honored as part of the Women in Cinema programme at the Cannes Film Festival, invited by the Red Sea International Film Festival, and in January 2025 Valentino named her its first female Thai brand ambassador. She walked the Met Gala carpet on May 5, 2025 in a custom creation by Alessandro Michele, the first Thai actor to do so, and in October 2025 she was inducted into the BoF 500.

In 2026 she appeared in the psychological romantic thriller The Stain, released on February 26 with Engfa Waraha and others, and in 4 Elements: The Air on Channel 7 HD as Vayo, known as Lom, her fourth project with Becky. Her working arrangements changed too. Her contract with Idol Factory came to an end in 2025, and in October she founded her own management company, Solenn Entertainment.

Music runs alongside the screen work. She has sung on the GAP soundtrack with Becky, recorded “Cheevee” for The Loyal Pin, and released the solo single “Girlfreen” in 2025.
