SYNOPSIS

Fourever You (เพราะรักนำทาง; RTGS: Phro Rak Nam Thang) is a Thai boys' love ensemble romantic comedy-drama set in a northern Thai university and its attached teaching hospital, where a tight circle of medical students and their juniors fall in and out of love more or less simultaneously. At its centre are Easter (Earth Katsamonnat Namwirote) and Hill (Pond Ponlawit Ketprapakorn), childhood friends who have already been together once and cannot quite decide whether to try again. Running alongside them are North (Bas Hatsanat Piniwat) and Johan (Maxky Ratchata Pichetshote), whose constant sparring over an old unpaid debt keeps them in each other's company far longer than either of them intended. On screen the two pairings are known as PondEarth and MaxkyBas.

Rather than giving one couple a supporting chorus, the season lets several romances develop side by side and lets them get in each other's way. Tonfah (Bever Patsapon Jansuppakitkun) and Typhoon (Tonliew Methaphat Chimkul), neighbours since childhood, circle one another with years of unfinished business between them, while Arthit (Ngern Anupart Luangsodsai) and Daotok (Oat Tharathon Phumphothingam) work through a friendship that keeps tipping toward something neither wants to name first. Hospital rotations, exam pressure, faculty events and the merciless gossip of a small campus supply most of the obstacles; jealousy, misread signals and the fear of losing a friend supply the rest. Each pair moves at its own speed, and the friend group itself ends up being as much the subject as any single romance.

Produced by Studio Wabi Sabi and co-directed by Siwaj Sawatmaneekul and Nantalit Tampacha, the series ran sixteen weekly Thursday-night episodes on GMM25 from 3 October 2024 to 16 January 2025, then released its seventeenth and final episode as a WeTV exclusive on Saturday 25 January 2025 — Fast Track that day, general WeTV VIP access on 1 February — so the broadcast run and the complete series carry different episode counts. An extended streaming edition ran on WeTV and Viki, with international episodes posted on the studio's own YouTube channel. It opens the wider Fourever You project, adapted from the connected campus romances by Howlsairy, collectively known as the Four Doctors set (เซ็ตพี่หมอ, Doctor's Set), each built around a different couple inside the same friend group. The set runs to five novels, not four: East, North, South and West carry compass-point titles, while the fifth, Lately, It's Winter Season, does not — so the "four directions" framing that the collective name suggests is not quite what the source material does. This first season draws chiefly from East: Tag!, You're Mine and North: How Much Is Your Love?, compressing both into a single ensemble run and leaving the remaining three stories for the sequel, Fourever You Part 2. Warm, noisy and unashamedly fond of its cast, it became one of the biggest Thai BL launches of its year.

EDITOR’S VERDICT

8.5/10

Fourever You is one of the more ambitious Thai BL ensembles of its year, a campus drama from Studio Wabi Sabi that adapts Howlsairy's "Four Doctors" novels and juggles several couples at once across 17 episodes.

The Ensemble

Rather than a single pairing, the series spreads its attention across multiple couples, led by Easter & Hill (Earth & Pond) and North & Johan (Bas & Maxky), building a small, interconnected world of medical-school romances.

The secondary pairs, Tonfah & Typhoon (Bever & Tonliew) and Arthit & Daotok (Ngern & Oat), get less screen time individually, but they round out a friend group that feels lived-in rather than sketched, and that groundwork pays off once the franchise moves into Part 2's solo arcs.

What to Expect

  • Ensemble structure: several romances woven together rather than one focus.
  • Campus comedy-drama: friendship, young love and university chaos.
  • Franchise opener: sets up the larger Fourever You project and its sequel.

The Verdict

A warm, busy ensemble BL; Fourever You rewards viewers who enjoy multi-couple campus dramas and don't mind a large cast sharing the spotlight, even if that breadth means no single couple gets quite the depth a solo-focus season could give them.

Final Score: 8.5/10

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Fourever You about?

Fourever You is a 2024-2025 Thai ensemble boys' love (BL) drama set in a university and its teaching hospital, following medical students and their juniors through several interlinked romances at once. It is led by the couples Easter & Hill and North & Johan, with two more pairs, Tonfah & Typhoon and Arthit & Daotok, rounding out the campus friend group.

Is Fourever You based on novels?

Yes. It adapts Howlsairy's "Four Doctors" (เซ็ตพี่หมอ, Doctor's Set) novel series, a set of four connected campus-romance novels. Part 1 draws chiefly from two of them, "East: Tag!, You're Mine" and "North: How Much Is Your Love?", compressing both storylines into one ensemble season rather than telling them separately.

How many episodes does Fourever You have?

This first part has 17 episodes, averaging around 55 minutes each, with some episodes running considerably longer near the finale. It aired weekly on GMM25 from October 3, 2024, wrapping up with a delayed finale on January 25, 2025.

Who stars in Fourever You?

The ensemble is led by Earth Katsamonnat Namwirote (Easter) and Pond Ponlawit Ketprapakorn (Hill), plus Bas Hatsanat Piniwat (North) and Maxky Ratchata Pichetshote (Johan). Bever Patsapon Jansuppakitkun (Tonfah), Tonliew Methaphat Chimkul (Typhoon), Ngern Anupart Luangsodsai (Arthit) and Oat Tharathon Phumphothingam (Daotok) complete the main friend group.

Where can I watch Fourever You?

Fourever You aired on GMM25 in Thailand. An extended streaming edition runs internationally on WeTV and on Rakuten Viki, and full episodes are also posted on Studio Wabi Sabi's own YouTube channel for viewers outside Thailand.

Is Fourever You finished?

Yes. Fourever You (Part 1) is complete, with all 17 episodes having aired between October 2024 and January 2025. The story continues directly in the separately listed sequel, Fourever You Part 2.

Who directed Fourever You?

Fourever You was co-directed by Siwaj Sawatmaneekul (New) and Nantalit Tampacha (Ko) for Studio Wabi Sabi, the production house behind several other prominent Thai BL series.

Who wrote the source novels?

The "Four Doctors" novel series was written by the Thai author Howlsairy, who publishes under the handle Howlvy on the Dek-D web-novel platform. Each of the four novels centres on a different couple within the same medical-school circle of friends.

Is there a sequel to Fourever You?

Yes. The story continues in Fourever You Part 2, which restructures the same friend group into three separate eight-episode arcs, each centred on one of the remaining couples, rather than one large ensemble.

What is Fourever You Part 2?

Fourever You Part 2 (also called Fourever You 2) is the second season of the franchise. Where Part 1 told several couples' stories together, Part 2 gives each remaining pair, Tonfah & Typhoon, Arthit & Daotok, and Tiger & Nao, its own dedicated eight-episode arc.

What order should I watch the Fourever You franchise in?

Start with Fourever You (this series) for the Easter & Hill and North & Johan storylines, then move to Fourever You Part 2 for the Tonfah & Typhoon, Arthit & Daotok, and Tiger & Nao arcs. Standalone specials can be watched afterward as bonus material for specific couples.

What are the Fourever You specials?

Alongside the two main seasons, Studio Wabi Sabi released standalone special episodes focused on individual couples, such as the North & Johan specials, plus short special episodes tied to Part 2's arcs. These are separate, shorter entries in the wider franchise rather than a third season.

Are the Fourever You novels available in English?

The source novels by Howlsairy are Thai-language web novels published on Dek-D; an English e-book version of at least one entry has been released by the author, though availability varies by title and platform.

What network produced Fourever You?

Fourever You was broadcast by GMM25, a Thai free-to-air channel, and produced by Studio Wabi Sabi, one of the most active production houses in the modern Thai BL industry.

Is Fourever You an anthology series?

Not exactly. Part 1 tells several couples' stories in parallel within a single connected plot, rather than as separate, self-contained episodes; the anthology-style structure, with one couple per arc, only begins with Fourever You Part 2.

Does Fourever You connect to other Studio Wabi Sabi shows?

Fourever You exists within its own dedicated franchise, spanning this series, Fourever You Part 2, and related specials, all adapted from Howlsairy's "Four Doctors" novel world rather than crossing over with Studio Wabi Sabi's other, unrelated series.
